She was a most beautiful lady. wonderful actress and an even better singer but her red hair could mean that she may be difficult to live with as depicted in the Quiet Man film.

She was so very upset and disappointed when she was not considered for the movie The King and I. This was because no one knew that she could sing. I’m sure she would’ve landed that movie role if anyone knew.

A little too high-pitched & operatic for me. I've always liked Ms. O'Hara, and she's quite lovely here but I found it a little tedious to sit through. Gorgeous dress, though!

The costume is (of course) absolutely all wrong for this, but her voice is just right. Spot on with the vocals, as usual. ^____^

Maureen O'Hara and John Wayne had on screen chemistry. All of their movies are a must see. Quiet Man and Rio Grande is a must. Nicely done.
