Rhetoric is extremely important to me. I wouldn’t call the 3rd ranked team beating the 2nd ranked team “shocking the world” as this guy says. I’ve been an Oregon fan my whole life. My dad went to U of O. I still remember the Joey Harrington and Dennis Dixon days. Oregon has been building something special for decades at this point. I thought Chip Kelly was going to be our Nick Saban. But it looks like Dan Lanning is. That being said I really think Oregon should be probably ranked number one now, especially after that win even without Texas losing. I just don’t feel like Texas beating Oklahoma was nearly as impressive.. and Oregon beating Ohio State shouldn’t shock anyone it should’ve been expected. Especially if you’ve been following all the talent that they’ve collected this last year through the transfer portal and through recruiting.. Oregon is essentially a recruiting machine at this point. We’re going to be the next Alabama Mark my words.
