Hey Sarah, I think you are in the upper Midwest where Menards home improvement stores are located. I get their emails on super deals and flash deals everyday, or a couple times a day. Today they have a set of 6, size 5 rubber soccer balls ⚽️ for $17.99 with free delivery to the store. The set comes with one pump too. I've been able to get some amazing deals from Menards as long as it ships free to the store. It takes looking through 2-4 online pages, but it can be very worth it. I don't do Facebook, so I wanted to tell you, especially after your great boy box with a soccer ball included.

I like the idea of putting the back pack in the pencil pouch, esp , and all the other items. I'm making a list of items in each box, helps me stay organized.

That is such a neat idea. We usually make bracelets, but don't send a kit. My granddaughter, who has been packing shoeboxes with me for 16 years, made the bracelets this year and most of them last year. Last year, (2023)she came to my house and made the bracelets to match the outfits I had. This year I sent her pictures and she matched them. Please pray for her and the rest of the family as we lost her dad and my son Nov 10,2023. The packing party was the night before his funeral and she still came.

I wish we had that here in the south.

What a fantastic box for an older boy! I like some of the new ideas you have shown here! I did send tool kits to my older boys this year 2024, but also Lego sets to some but all got marbles! We prioritize school supplies every year but also like to include whistles, cross necklaces and whatever fun stuff we can still fit in the boxes. Thanks to watching your videos, I also bought some of those tic tac toe games and frisbees to include in their boxes as well! I’m hoping to get them all this year as well! I love how excited you are about packing shoeboxes as well! It is my heart also! ❤❤❤❤❤

I love the bright green colors in this box and the frog/turtles are perfect for an older boy! 🐸 The socks have Yoshi on them from Mario, my boy's favorite character! 😊 How exciting that this box is probably almost to the hands of a special boy! 🥰

I love this box. I agree that the `10-14 year olds are still kids. I also send lots of games and activity type toys to the older boys along with their WOW gift and a stuffed toy..

I have an idea I want to ask about. Not sure if a kid in another country would like it or not, and if you think they might, where could I post this idea so others could do it too? This would be my first box ever, and I don't know if this idea would be sustainable over time, but in this box, I plan to make a little 6"x6" book. The cover page would be a sticker of the earth, saying "Of all the countries on earth, I was blessed enough to have been born in...", and Canada outlined with a marker. The second page would have a sticker of Canada, and a Canadian flag. British Columbia would be outlined in the same marker, and I would have some fun facts about Canada on the page. The last line would say "Out of all of Canada I am blessed to be living in..." The next page would be a sticker of British Columbia, with the Lower Mainland outlined in the marker. It would have some fun facts about BC and would end with the line "Out of all of beautiful British Columbia, I am blessed enough to live in..." The next page would have a sticker of Vancouver with some fun facts about the Greater Vancouver area and the last line would be "And of all the people living in Vancouver this is..." The last page would be a picture of the family and be captioned "God-blessed me and my family!" and the personal note to the child. The stickers would all be tacked on the the pages so the child could remove and use them if they wanted to. I figure for future boxes, I could preprint the pages with the text part and just have to tack on the stickers and photo and, of course, sign the note. What do you think? Too over-the top?

This video was so entertaining for me! I've never tried boba, but my son loves it. I'll have to get him a kit for his upcoming birthday! I love that you have a chime to alert you to your mail delivery. I am a mail carrier and had the day off yesterday because of our 6 inch snowfall here in the mountains of NC, and I was wondering how much snow your mail carrier was working in... and then you showed the snow in your back yard! 😊 As for the Chinese meal, my favorite is General Tso chicken with fried rice. I just went yesterday in Wal-Mart and found in various parts in the store Christmas clearance items. Shirts for $1, Cindy Lou from the Grinch doll for .39 cents, rain deer stuff animal that was $12.98 on sale for $1.29. I always look at clearance isles.
