What's the torque setting for wheel bearing nut on Fiat Punto ( 188 ) 1.3 multi-jet hatchback 2003 . The nut size is also bigger at 36mm, not 32mm as this video shows.

Great if you have £500 worth of bearing press, taper splitter and 12 point No 30 socket, cheaper to go to your local garage....!

I’ve just bought some Ridex shock absorbers, because they recommended them; not realising they manufacture the parts, I feel robbed I should have went with the big brands I had in my basket.

@@Pecyn82I bought shock absorbers. They don‘t work very well. You should rather spend your money wisely. Buy from companies who engineer good shocks. Bilstein, Sachs and KYB for example.

Awesome video. I have the car. It would be more awesome if you make more tutorial videos about this car. Keep it up with the good work. Also, I love the fact you did not use air tools, just to show us it is possible with a regular wrench

Having just done this , there are three points to note .... 1st , Brembo parts use a 12mm bolt ( so you have to use TWO sockets , 12 mm + 13 mm ! ! ) ... the countersunk bolt is T 30 Torx ( not Phillips as the footer suggests ! ) .... Brembo parts are a few £££ more , but they paint the discs tungsten grey ( so they do not need degreasing ....and... the ventilation slots do not get ( horribly ? ) rusted over a few years use , like slightly cheaper discs ( think MOT tests etc ... ) ...hope this is of help ( ? ) ...

Bought and mounted 2 Ridex front disks and BMW E38 750iL started to shake strongly on braking at higher speeds. Of course it cannot be the new brake rotors, so step-by-step renewed complete front steering and suspension parts. As the car is not our daily ride, now 2 years later all revisions added up to...NO improvement on the violent steering wheel shake, at all. Ended up to closer analyse the 'still pretty new' Ridex brake disks and BOTH WOBBLE! Thank you Ridex! NEVER AGAIN

no shit sherlock, they are 1/3 of the price of ATE parts. ridex is only good for dealers so they can add value to the car, despite being total shit. all 4 corners (pads and rotors) cost same as only 1 front disk from ATE or brembo !! you can guess the quality
