Can you paint a latex mask with the grease paint and the paint will remain flexible? Having issues getting latex paint and rubber cement paint through my airbrushes and want to try something else.

I just started making foam latex and was wondering why when I tear away the flashing, I see folded and puckered edges in some spots? Cam these still be blended realistically?

Thanks! Any loose makeup powder will work, ideally something translucent without any pigment.

@@ValérieDo-s7g You could, but it's not really needed. Especially if you're just using cream makeup around the eyes and sensitive areas, the last thing you want to do is blast those spots with sealer spray. If you're painting the entire makeup with creams sealer would be a good idea.

It all depends on how carefully you take it off. Evil Skull has almost no blending edges, so it's more durable than some of our other options. Check out our tutorial on applying and removing foam latex prosthetics, that will give you more info.

Could this be layered with liquid latex or put on over latex? Would that also help it stay on longer in a hot environment?

That might help a bit, but if you're standing in the sun all day gelatin will start to slump no matter what it's covered with.

So long as you're gentle removing the adhesive you can get a few uses out of it.

Help! I received a foam latex prosthetic but the edges are thick! what do I do?

Not an Instant Monsters one I hope! Once it's glued on you can dab latex eyelash adhesive over the edges, or use a small spatula to sort of spackle it in place. That combined with adding texture and mottling to the paint job can help a lot.

It probably won't work as well with a tougher latex mask, foam latex is very spongy which allows it to melt.

This isn't silicone, it's foam latex. This particular prosthetic isn't available anymore on the Instant Monsters website, but an updated version will be released in the next few weeks!
