Hi! I can't give you a definite answer to this question as it always depends on the specific situation. It sure can work, if you have trouble with it try using single frequencies. And of course use the noise canceling as explained in the video 🙂

Hi! The Q35 does not support the Quest Go App and it is not possible to update the device. The software of the Q35 basically is an updated version of the software used in the Q30/Q30+ and Q60 for years. Do you have any troubles with your device?

It’s a very good machine it’s a shame the handle does fold flat aswell that would of made it much better for backpacks really but can’t complain with the one I have purchased very well made Will recommend to anyone 👍👍👍

Hi! Depending on the search environment and material + size of the object you can detect small targets (like coins) in up to 35 cm and really big targets like metal caskets in more than 1 m.

My xpointer lost its sensitivity last monday. Everything works normal except it is not detecting anything at all. Disc setting is on and all settings are normal. Any ideas?

Hi! Best idea would be to send it to the closest service center to let them check the device as this seems like a malfunction. (contact your dealer if you don't know where to send it to) Please keep in mind that the XPointer will calibrate itself upon powering on so make sure to hold it away from metal objects when starting it.

@QuestEurope i already made a phonecall with my dealer and they were very surprised. Next week I will drive by and show it to them. I am afraid it is no warranty as a year already passed by 😔

@@cordeboer9774 You should have 2 years of warranty so you should get help without having to pay, but the Service Center will have to see if it is a warranty case first. I hope you will get help fast!

I bought ur detector 5 days ago now it doesn't pinpoint WTF QUEST I THOUGHT U WERE RELIABLE COMPANY. Plus it wont let me create an email any help at least?

Hi @@andros01georgiou74! I am sorry to hear that the pinpointing isn't working anymore. To make sure that the pinpointing works fine, you have to start pressing the pinpoint button while there is NO metal close to the coil. It only works by comparing the current signal strength to the signal strength when starting the pinpoint function. If you considered this and it still doesn't work, please contact the dealer you bought the device from so you will get a new, working unit.

I have received mine and try it today in park. May be a good detector but also very complicated to use. It rings constantly. I usued the Park programm but the discrimanation is poor, all the pulltabs are detected?? After one hour to dig for trash I deceided to stop.😏😏

I am begginer. Just obtained Xpointer Max. There is a card in the box suggesting to download QuestGo app to phone for better expierience. For my deep regret (tried for a while before going to Google for advice) looks like Xpointer does not support connecting to phone. Question - why manufacturer put a card in a box of device which does not have such option?

Hi, I am sorry to hear that! To get it to work again, you need to update the device again with the QuestGo App. Please try it how it is explained in the video. If it doesn't work or is not able to connect to the app, please read the additional tips in the video description. If this does not work, please send it back to the dealer you bought it from with an explanation of the problem and they will update the device for you or send it to the service center for you.

Bought one, but its somtimes stuck in a Bootloop where the Quest Logo and a blank Screen are cycling for about 30 sec. Somtimes it starts immediately.

Hello! Made in XXX means that the most of the manufacturing is happening in the specific country. While this can be an indicator for the quality of the product, as it has been more in the past, you can't draw clear conclusions from that. It is possible to build high quality or low quality products everywhere, it always depends on the specific factory. Also, there are many ways for companies to write made in Germany, USA or whatever on the products but still get many parts and labor from countries where they have to pay way less and, probably, get lower quality. 🙂 We at Quest produce high quality metal detectors which, are technically mature and have proven to be on par with the competition in terms of quality.

How would you compare it to the Nokta Legend? Why would you pick the Quest V80 instead? :)

To be honest i never used the quest pinpointer. I like my Xpmi6 pinpointer. I had a nokta previously,but lost it in a field. XPmi6 i like it because it can be used with the Dues 2,i can pair the pinpointer and watch it pin point a target, on screen. Also it can find the Mi6, if lost for some reason. Price of the top Quest metal detector, seems very good.

Hi! A software update can solve the issue. Here's a video explaining how: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mYO0Z4SQaatosJI Please note that sometimes there are issues regarding the usage of the app and connecting of the device. Please make sure to check out the video description of the video if you have any troubles as there are some tips to resolve the problems. If you can't get it to work you can also send the device back to the dealer you bought it from/our European Service Center so we can restore the software. 🙂 If you have any questions let me know!
