I enjoy hearing yall talking about promoting races balancing the need for the race teams and the fans. there are so many factors to consider
@longtimedirt64092 күн бұрын
You boys are riding a slippery slope. You mentioned a couple times the fans wanted 100 laps. It’s always been a 100 laps now y’all are coming in and changing it to 60. It’s hard enough to keep the gates open any way and then you come in and change what the fans say they want . You have to keep the seats full of butts.The drivers are coming that’s what they do they race. One tire won’t stop them from coming . It will be interesting to see the outcome. Wish you boys the best
@JeffR-j8qКүн бұрын
You don’t listen very well. The current promoter changed it to 60 laps this year. HTF is changing it back to 100 laps next year.

Lord no wonder racing is struggling nothing but keyboard warriors constantly track bashing. Yes the track is dusty and can be one groove yet people dont crap on these big natjonal tracks that become one lane either smh

Good stuff, guys! Congrats also on taking another step in the promoter journey. I am hopeful y'all decide to do some behind-the-scenes stuff on the promotion side as I am sure I, and a bunch of others, would benefit from added understanding of the promoter side of the equation. I could help but think the structure of, for the lack of a better phrase, farmtube videos (think Millennial Farmer) might be a good way to hit the highlights of the day-to-day life of track promotion. Good luck, fellas! Excited to see y'all continue to thrive.

you may need to add someone to film the race team aspect because that is established, and you move to the promotion aspect until you figure out exactly what and how you want to show that side of the business,going to be a learning experience and you should be the one to do that

If they would put Cherokee Speedway back to a 1/2 and put the High Banks back in one and two. You could Pack place out again. Because. Where you Park outside one and two. What's the race track. The best racing you ever see. Love the podcast.

I think it would be stretching the audience too thin to have the race promotion stuff on another channel. Finding ways to enhance the already existing vlogs with the perspectives of a promoter would be awesome. Find a way to record race directer audio, organizing cars on restarts. Half the vlog is at the shop in milton getting cars ready, the other half is at the track getting banners hung and getting the property ready for fans to come for a weekend. Definitely some great opportunities to make what yall already have that much better. Looking forward to seeing you guys kill it as you always do

I was glad y'all didnt cancel Friday's race. Was on the road 5 and half hours from SC. Was really surprised to see you at the front gate on Friday then the front of the race track on Saturday. Racing both nights was very good. It was well worth the money that I spent that weekend. Will be back there for the first points race in March. Only real one complaint I have and it is not to HTF, it is to the track, invest in a scoreboard.

Don't be to hard on your selfs Friday night the track was slick and fast overcast yes but I would have sat in the rain to watch and sat was good just a lil dusty but what dirt tack isn't yall put on a good show ill see yeah next trip to i75

I hope yall check some more east TN tracks out i know yall been to smoky mtn an i 75 but look into Crossville speedway, wartburg speedway, bulls gap, tazwell and golden mountain is about to re open we have alot of good tracks close to each other be great for friday night and Saturday night shows
@chrisedgemon49436 күн бұрын
I was at I 75 it was great show an that track since it's been re shaped puts on great 2 wide racing only issue i had at first was I pre ordered tickets for teir parking it's just easier with a kid to do teir but you had to get a pit pass as a ticket which was OK because we enjoy walking the pits but I'm so glad they done away with the 30 parking fee adding that was getting up there in price to take a family other then I was fine with it I think it even got changed to 40 for teir without the pit pass after I pre ordered tickets but I was fine with everything after they done away with the 30 parking fee

Guys the series you've made/built is what late model racing needs/needed! Gives teams a chance to grow and get notoriaty on a larger level! Id love to see your series grow up the east coast some day and become an east coast tour! Just a fan from PA and we need more big name late model shows in this area! More than twice a year. Very talented field in this neck of the woods! LoL !

Its nice that you try to promote races do coffee and all the stuff you try to do but if you want to be a national power race team you need to focus more on the racing forget the crate side and dedicate your efforts to racing
@jhwk19708 күн бұрын
Their focus isn’t on being a “national power race team”. It looks to me their focus is on making a living for a lot of folks named Joiner through participating in the racing business. It isn’t easy when it comes to any part of it, including making a big stakes gamble on the weather. I would, however, recommend you start a race team and do it right.
