The music is great, but the industrial part of the ceremony has nothing to do with th Olympic Games, nor the Olympic rings

The music was absolutely amazing

And now the criminal elite want to undo the industrial revolution and take us back to pre-industrial revolution times in the name of climate change but they won't make that same move themselves, i.e. make us all poor

The beginning drum parts i just imagine when that One Piece moment where the heart beats again 👌👌🤧😭🥳

It is a masterpiece. Too much epic. I Hope that someday Spanish culture can feel the same proud and walking together with all the power that we have inside.

When we first got given the games I believed that it would be a massive flop. That was until they started and the atmosphere in East London changed forever. Suddenly people were proud of where they came from, people smiled and greeted each other. Even today, passing the stadium I still smile and feel proud of what we achieved. I cried the first time I saw this segment and to this day I get chills watching this (I knew many people who had the opportunity to take part) as the rings came together and then the raising of the petals. The great was definitely put back in Britain.

London 2012, particularly the Industrial Revolution segment, is what I hope my country can do in our ceremony in 2028. An awe-inspiring live reconstruction of history with some pretty damn good music. I still listen to this piece 9 years later

we should change our anthem to this as a powermove
