Everything about that performance was cringe. I was on the settee with a bad cold then, so I couldn't go out to escape it or switch to another channel as I was with someone who wanted to watch it. Everything about the set was cringe. The singing, the set design, what she said to the audience in between songs, the dancers' costumes, and what she wore. She acted like she was only one of a privileged few who had given birth, and then she told the audience off for calling the festival Glasto instead of the Glastonbury Festival of Performing Arts. Who calls it that as it is a mouthful? Her private life was falling apart, and her marriage was on the rocks, so she felt a need to compensate.

@garethleeming539 She was falling apart at the time, which is why she was behaving like this on stage. She later admitted that her marriage was on the rocks then and that she felt very lonely on tour around that time.
