Actually those gaskets that you " didnt need" were made out of silicone and the reason its not melting is because of those gaskets. So its a good idea you used them by "accident" but if you choose to build another unit using that make sure you use them again. Those are prevent the plastic from melting from that exhaust

I'm sorry if I missed something, but it took all the way to the end of the video before I learned the caliber of your rifle. If my understanding is correct, your adventures are located in Colorado. If this is the case, and looking at the box of ammo you purchased for your 300 Win Mag, does Colorado mandate non-lead ammunition for hunting? I tried looking into Colorado's requirement, if any, for non-lead ammo but it is unclear. There was some talk of some pilot program but the reg's, as far as I can tell doesn't require non-lead ammo. Where I am located, California, only non-lead ammo is allowed for hunting of any kind!

As of right now we can use what ever we want. I have switched to hammer bullets for my new 300wm which is an all copper bullet. I'm still using Hornady ElDX for antelope.

Nobody's going to be coming from any other states anymore the Democratic party is shutting hunting down in Colorado the tags are gone you can no longer apply and actually get a tag that is their way of getting rid of hunters without saying oh you can't Hunt No More Miss Megan so non-residents can't even come and spend their money no more

I agree. They want to get rid of conservative voters in Colorado too.

Most of them died 2 years ago. Resident herd is on the little snake river. Catch them moving off of private land on to blm.

Love it, so good to watch straight clever handy man type set ups like this. Human nature forces some critics to always say things about those making their own builds and ideas but you did well and great watching. About to do the same with a chilly bin for my roof tent here in New Zealand. 👍

@MikeHunts Wow, I'm surprised at that. I've heard that same answer but for restoration work. (Lots of bondo, block sanding, etc.) But I'm surprised they turn away a "stuff and shoot" on a canopy. 🤷

Was wondering why the leer sticker was taken off the shell. (Repainted) The tunnel area that you were at is very familiar to me and cool to see how much snow is still there. I bet the deadend road to the right of that tunnel was probably closed then with snow being around.

Most all the spots were snowed in on that road. We ended up at the Morgan Gulch trail head area.

WOW CAN’T BELIEVE YOU SAID “ROUGH’EN” it. I like the fact that you take your children out there but be careful, like the outdoor boys people made bad comments about their safety. I KNOW YOUR SAFE but the critics need to stuff themselves. This is what people need to see what it’s like to have their children out there!!!! So when the 😂 SHTF APOCALYPSE happens they will see what it’s like raising a child in the woods. Don’t stop the conversation or content. But thank you for say ROUGH’EN it and not super survival I can survive anything stuff. Roughing it was the original term for minimal camping under certain conditions. Survival skills very on the circumstances and gear you have. But experiencing the outdoors is what the kids need today and not looking at it as a way to destroy their surroundings. Defacing the woodland areas and doing stupid stuff to it. But respecting it more… so if the SHTF does happen it will still be there for them to have a place of refuge. SEMPER FI

@@MikeHunts I understand. I have 12 terabytes of video and most I thought was gone forever. My hip is messed up so I am limited in movement so, I am currently going through footage, editing, and uploading no matter the content or quality. I took the time to film it and might as well use it. Content is content and people are always happy to watch other people doing different things.

I took my boys camping for the first time this year and I enjoyed getting to see them experience things for the first time. I always bring a deck of Uno cards with me when I go places because even my youngest can play. I agree with you about limiting screen time for the kids, they need to develop an imagination and I think that too many kids do not know how to play anymore.

Serious question: Where are you supposed to live if you're a man and most shelters take women and kids only and are overrun? Where are you supposed to be if you fall within the welfare gap so you can't get assistance or you are behind on taxes, etc? Maybe one has substance abuse or mental illness or disability without support to navigate the red tape and denials in our system? I work two seamstress jobs and feel like I'm constantly trying to stay ahead of rental increases and avoid homelessness. I wonder sometimes what would happen if my rent went up 10-20% and I could no longer keep afloat, or if my partner died and I could not find a place to live in time. I would also have to give up my sewing machines and tools and would further sink into despair. I currently pay $1100 a month for a 216 sq ft trailer 30 minutes outside of a moderately sized city. I just wish there was a place where folks could camp more permanently or at least secure basic minimal housing (nothing fancy). The fact that there is no guarantee for this despite my paying taxes for 14 years is kinda sad. Even Russia has some basic/affordable stuff out there for poorer folks.
