Thanks for sharing the vid. The reservoir at the end of the 4x4 looked cool to try and fish. Nice area ans scenery but when I heard you said cameras were a dud thats a bummer and a let down. I have similar toaks pot for boiling water that Imuse occasionally. I still need to get one of the sawyer squeeze though, I am still using a pump which takes a lot of room. (Like the pump though for backfilling a water bladder) Keep the vids coming.. In 2 weeks I will be doing some exploring out there, but no hunting. :(

So its been over a month since this, no "issues" with the lake water? I got three of those water exact filters in our emergency kit for the family. Havent used them yet.

I have used sawyer filters a lot. I have used then in much worse rivers and never got sick. The only issue is you can't let them get below freezing once you have used them. If they freeze they break inside and no longer filter. I have thrown out 3 of them because I made this mistake.
