The 50lb Lesco has 4.1 gear ratio. It is on the manual. For your advise, I think I am going to get the 50lb one. BTW, the metal grade for 80lb Lesco cost $105 on website.

you are absolutely right! It is cheaper. I'm using it commercially so I thought since I was making the big purchase, go all the way! lol - I believe I seen the metal one for around $370, that's over a $265 difference for the 80lb stainless. Besides, The 80 pound hopper is large and heavy, so if you don't need it, don't get it. I almost wish I have gotten the 50 pound one, but I getting use to this one now, it seemed really huge to me at first.

Per application $ is much cheaper if you get the concentrate and use a backpack sprayer. I started spraying the 16-4-8 and my lawn reacted very well to the foliar application which was watered in about 8 hours later.

Nice vid. Once you made your initial hole through the trim panel on the inner fender lining, a straightened cloths hanger would have made the wiring process so much easier.

Awesome video. I got the self propelled unit. They show putting oil in the engine in my manual and its a 4 cycle which you do not put oil in a 4 cycle gasoline !!! Not sure why they did that but I’m gonna send them a video and email. One screw missing on the part where the hose fits into the unit. Lots if scratches on mine as well. I hate that They should do better. Think im gonna buy a billy goat vac next. I heard this one has bad problems lots of unhappy customers. I hope i don’t have any issues but i noticed a lot of complaints. Thanks for a great video.

@@danielkinney6325 I donated mine after that season. I did not purchase a new one yet but I also think it will be a Billy Goat next time. Just to clarify, a 4 cycle engine takes oil added to the engine, a 2 cycle gets its lubricant from oil added to the fuel. Thanks for commenting, lots of great points on this unit. They are not really designed well and they are packaged poorly and most of the time assembled incorrectly at the factory. So strange!

if your using a hose end sprayer, just spray the product on your lawn. I would wait 12 to 24 hours then water.. Great question

Great question. I been doing this for years, has never been an issue and honestly it seems to disappear into the soil relatively fast. I never can actually even see it even. No problems doing this at all.
