May I make a suggestion? I grew up in a trucking yard where we were always going through hoses. We once had a large half inch line air compressor hose that was left over from a project.(I think the state changed what material the trucklines could be made of.) we put a couple of male and female adapters on the ends and over 20 years later still using the same hose. Beats changing cracked weathered garden hose every few years. If you know someone with a 3-D printer, they can make you some nice Unistrutcap ends and the like

From my perspective this unit is a fail. Poor assembly, poor fit and finish, too much plastic on critical parts, stiff useless hose, and the chipper shoot makes no sense as branches are not straight like broom handles. I go with a better quality use unit over this.

@@MrKmd27 all great points and very true! I believe this one cost $800, so yes, for the money I don’t think the value is there. With that being said, it did get the job done. I personally did not like it enough to keep, I gifted it to my parents

The 50lb Lesco has 4.1 gear ratio. It is on the manual. For your advise, I think I am going to get the 50lb one. BTW, the metal grade for 80lb Lesco cost $105 on website.

you are absolutely right! It is cheaper. I'm using it commercially so I thought since I was making the big purchase, go all the way! lol - I believe I seen the metal one for around $370, that's over a $265 difference for the 80lb stainless. Besides, The 80 pound hopper is large and heavy, so if you don't need it, don't get it. I almost wish I have gotten the 50 pound one, but I getting use to this one now, it seemed really huge to me at first.
