Well done Finnegan - what a catch (both him & that fish) there is nothing i love more than seeing the chicks with full crops.

The flight feathers coming in are beautiful but love all the fluff and hate to see it go.

Every year I've watched always awestruck by the 'sudden' appearance of those developing black wings.

cute little guy. something back there has a hideously ear rending screech. there's an odd quality to its sound that makes my ear drum tremble regardless of volume.

Same birds nesting since 2012. That's pretty incredible, successful bird parents!

Sometimes I think the hawks (I have Cooper's, Red Tailed, and Red Shouldered in the area) fly by my yard just to mess with the birds at my feeders. They never try to catch the Starlings, so it does feel like they're being cheeky.

If I had these birds visiting my backyard, I would not get anything done. My time would be spent just watching them. Thank you.
