This is the first time I've checked in on Iris is a couple years and it was always a sad nest for poor Iris and here deadbeat boyfriend Louis. I am glad she met Finn.

There is another egg, should hatch in next 3/4 days. It was laid 6 days after the 2nd egg, The 1st egg was kicked out of the nest...

Why does Iris eat without feeding her baby ?? I have only seen one feeding so far and here she is eating and the baby is clearly hungry. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Think about it -- if she's not strong and healthy, how can she take care of her baby? If you've only seen one feeding you've been looking elsewhere.

@@TinkerTailor4303Finnegan seems to not know what to do. I saw a video that showed him feeding Iris.Iris fed several bites to the baby then brooded her while Finn took the rest of the fish and flew off the nest. I have yet to see this baby have a crop of any kind.
