I was stopped at a red light last week and the car next to me was blasting a song where every other word was the N word. So glad I grew up in the 60s.

Clever how they've managed to bring a basic guitar demo to life,though even with the overdubbing and editing.Billy J wins hands up!

For copyright reasons a Beatles demo recording of this song was officially released on 11th December, 2013 (on I Tunes) as part of an album called, "The Beatles Bootleg Recordings 1963." having achieved its official release status, as intended, it was then withdrawn again very shortly after having been made available. Details are here. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jJrWaGZ3mbVsl5Y

I can’t remember hearing the Beatles sing this before. This is one that they gave to Billy J Kramer. It was a big hit in the UK for him when I was a teenager.

Otro tema de los Beatles que G.M debió haber incluído en Love me do. de su autoría y haber sacado canciones que no eran de ellos.😊

Written on spec by John for Brian Epstein, or more precisely for another one of Brian's acts, Billy J Kramer, who made it into a hit. "The leaves on the trees would be softly sighin' if they heard from the breeze that you left me cryin." What's not to love?
@AimanGallagher3 ай бұрын
If you ever leave me I'll be sad and blue Don't you ever leave me, I'm so in love with you The birds in the sky would be sad and lonely If they knew that I'd lost my one and only They'd be sad, don't be bad to me The leaves on the trees would be softly sighin If they heard from the breeze that you left me cryin' They'd be sad, don't be bad to me But I know you won't leave me 'cos you told me so And I've no intention of letting you go Just as long as you let me know you won't be bad to me So the birds in the sky won't be sad and lonely 'Cause they know that I got my one and only They'll be glad you're not bad to me

It's a most pleasant little tune, but it's equally obvious why the Beatles didn't use it for themselves. They could simply do MUCH MUCH better, and they knew it...
