We need the expansions. I think sell would have been better had there been more confidence on GFN's end. Heck, kickstart the expansions if you need to. Sell us the PDFs and let us figure it out.

I played it recently with 6 players, and we had the impression that the game is unfair. The Harkonnen have three advantages: 1. their Noble knows his Warriors from the start 2. They win when points are equal in the end. 3. They wound the Atreides Nobles twice when they attack them. - - - But the Atreides only have one advantage: the Sigils only benefit Atreides and the Assassins only harm Harkonnen. Even if you count that as two advantages, the Harkonnen still have one more. And the Harkonnen advantages always work, while the Atreides need some luck to get the right action cards with Sigil or Assassin and to target the right Players with them. - - - All the other Action cards seem not to favor the Atreides as well. It could even be said that they favor the Harkonnens. For example the Harkonnen Drone is a card that you want to use even if you are Atreides, because it's one of the few ways to find out who your enemies and friends are. But using it only gives you a point if you are Harkonnen. So, as I said, it is much easier for the Harkonnen to win. Is this intended? Or am I missing something?

Can’t believe I just heard about this game today. Any suggestions for simplifying it so I can play it with my 80 year old non-gamer dad? He commanded a battery of mobile howitzers during the Cold War in Germany and tow behind artillery in Vietnam so I think he’s gonna destroy me and ask about upgrades immediately but it needs to be “non-intimidating” to get into.

How long did the new war in this alternate history last? There's a logical progress from Flames of War to Team Yankee but Clash of Steel doesn't fit in there between them.
