A couple of minor clarifications: 1) You do not have to trigger a card when you play it. You may trigger it freely as part of the Activation used to play it. But you can simply use that Activation to play it. When you draw your new hand at the end of your turn, you draw one fewer card for each triggered card in your Tableau. 2) You can only spend 'Verse as Influence if the card you are trying to gain has your faction's symbol in its top left corner. 3) You can still be targeted by attacks if you lose a card from your Command Area. Only the loss of an Asset makes you immune from further attacks. Enjoy!

Thanks for adding those Jack. There are lots of nuances that the rule books cover, outside of the basic "How it works"

In terms of actions, you always have one Activation and one Recruitment available on your turn. There are some ways to gain additional of these but most of the time you can only do one of each (in any order). Likewise the action of earning a‘ Verse is limited to once per turn. Spending ‘Verse is only limited to the amount of ‘Verse you have.

On rule I could not find was the definition of a “core space” card. Are all core cards considered core space cards?
@joshcarey41872 жыл бұрын
"Core Space" refers to the card titled "Core Space" in the Alliance starting deck. So having another Core Space card on your tableau will give this card one influence. The Tohoku-Class Cruiser can be used with a Core Space card to get a total of two influence, so long as you have a Core Space card on your tableau.

Can you use cards from your hand to gain Influence during a Deal, or just untriggered ones from tableau? It's not really clear in rules.
@haukionkannel2 жыл бұрын
Yes you can. It does not matter if the influence comes from tabloy or hand.

Why would you ever dispatch when you can nab if it's the same difficulty? You're just turning someone else's hard earned asset into your own and right into your hand that way as opposed to just delaying their ability to play it again.

Sometimes the card you're targeting in a fight isn't one you really want to add to your deck, but removing it from your opponents tableau can still prevent a win. Sometimes a player wont put up as much of a fight if they know they won't end up losing it. You could be trying to prevent their win that turn, knowing you have it the next round etc.

@@GaleForceNineGames so you announce in advance if you are dispatching or nabbing and that can influence how much they fight. That makes more sense.
