Go out and explore the Philippines not just the BGC area. In Luzon Island alone the ff places you can visit are Clark in Pampanga, Subic in Zambales, San Juan in La Union, Hundred Islands and Bolinao in Pangasinan, Baguio City, Ifugao and Mt. Province.

False, it is a third world country. You guys meaning most of the foreigners that land here especially in the capital are living in a bubble in BGC and Makati. Take a ten or fifteen minute drive out of that bubble of even a walk to the west side of Uptown and you will see why it is a third world country.

Correction, the term now should be a Developing country, Third world term sounds obsolete and obnoxious nowadays...

Interesting walk through BGC - and a good advertisement for the area, also my area ;-). Cats are sterilized, so it's well under control. You see a lot food in nice container for the cats. Many people care about them. To prevent criminality by motorcyclists in Mandaluyong city (a bit north of BGC) it was not allowed that 2 men are on one motorcycle, not sure it that is still the law. Suggestion. Next time show BGC (or other areas) for newbies who just moved to the place and need to know where are the best places for certain things to buy like food and anything to make your new home nice ("home depot" in GBC, MarketMarket with many shops under same roof). If you are looking for a good place to buy plants for your home, check out my video: kzbin.infoUUEhB4aOZ7s?feature=share. It's only 20 min. from BGC. A nice area to go out is Greenbelt in Makati City. Here some impressions kzbin.info/www/bejne/gWTaZHlqbdZqn5Y Looking for a beach only 2 hours from here, check out my video kzbin.info/www/bejne/lXmreHmojLpkkNE

ya'll living in a bubble if you think you dont have to worry about crime there. a lot of unreported crimes occur there. this year alone there has been an upspike in crime in that area both by foreigners and locals. There was a chinese national that was shooting up a storm near Picadilly then add in the cases of "suicide" happening in the condo buildings not to mention all the drug operations going on around Burgos Circle and Serendra. muggings at the atms and then uptown a man weilding a knife and running arund chasing after people in front of Tim Horton's

For those who are not Slavic and trying buckwheat for the first time it is sometimes called Groats and try and buy the toasted kind. If you live in N.A. best to just go to an ethnic food store that specializes in Eastern European foods and get "Kasha Gryczana" or anything that is toasted. Key is toased. LOL Peace.
