When a low budget production has a better soundtrack than most Hollywood films, it's more proof of the truth.

This song was my first ever KZbin video and this channel the first one I subscribed to! I'm very attached to this song and return occasionally to listen to it. Thank you so much for sharing it here. It's still my favorite. ❤❤❤❤ (By the way: it's 23-10-2024 😉)

I'm so tired of being here Suppressed by all my childish fears And if you have to leave I wish that you would just leave 'Cause your presence still lingers here And it won't leave me alone These wounds won't seem to heal This pain is just too real There's just too much that time cannot erase [Chorus] When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears And I held your hand through all of these years But you still have all of me You used to captivate me by your resonating light Now I'm bound by the life you left behind Your face it haunts my once pleasant dreams Your voice it chased away all the sanity in me These wounds won't seem to heal This pain is just too real There's just too much that time cannot erase [Chorus] I've tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone But though you're still with me I've been alone all along

This feels like waking up a sleeping beauty. At first her lover breathes for her a gentle shallow breath and with perseverance sleep becomes overwhelmed by mysterious regeneration, ignited into a skipping heart beat bursting into new life and the joy and power of gratitude, ending with relief of being finally complete united to her prince.

Thanks! What was your favorite moment of the performance?

The patient build up, the sudden change from commanding to tenderness, increasing assurance and encouragement, passionate validation ignites confidence , consistent motivation believing in on behalf of the mentor, back to validation. The moment at the end when you feel satisfaction lifting your hands and head like you conquered all the moments. I enjoyed you making me analyze. I anticipate you chuckling at my answer.😊

That’s a great answer! I think my favorite moment is the first half of the “guitar” solo. The soft part in the upper register. I just love the sudden transition to how tender it is, then builds into the most intense part of the song in the following 2nd half of “guitar” solo. It’s a pivotal part of the song, and I love how the contrast highlights that turning point.

@@ScottDDavisMusic That sounds like what I meant to say but in music jargon. I do have quite a few of your pieces on my Spotify playlists and "Tahoma" is my favourite so far.
@ScottDDavisMusic7 ай бұрын
I’ve not actually played “Tahoma” in a while, and was just dusting it off this week. Kind have having to relearn it at this point, which is fun. Makes me think about it in ways I didn’t when I wrote it. I even notice new things about it.

Your music brings me peace. I am a grieving mother and grandmother. I have Two Angels in heaven. I lost my Son and Grandson on June 10,2021. It feels like yesterday, with the investigation still open. My Son Sean played piano. My Grandson Dawson enjoyed playing drums at age two. My granddaughter is just learning, i hope and pray She will have the natural gift that only a few chosen are blessed with. "Thank you for sharing your gift. I am grateful. "

Laura, I’m so saddened to learn you lost such close and important people in your life. I doubt I can even imagine what’s that’s like. I’m glad to hear that music I’ve done has brought you some peace. My brother’s name is Sean. He doesn’t play the piano, but his 7yo son recent got a keyboard and is learning to play. It’s a wonderful thing to see happen. It’s my belief the natural gift of musical talent is so rare, that even most great musicians don’t have it. Most people who become great musicians get there by finding joy in the process of learning. Enough joy, and curiosity, to feel compelled to keep trying that one little thing at the piano hundreds of times until it clicks. To trust in the magic of practice; with a lightness of spirit willing to giggle at the absurd number of times one has messed that part up, and yet come back to it again without self judgement or frustration. I’d like to encourage you, to encourage your granddaughter, to take joy in the imperfect process. To giggle, smile, laugh, and celebrate, every mistake and botched attempt she makes at the instrument. Learning an instrument requires messing up… A LOT! So make the mess-ups fun. Thats where the magic happens that eventually makes it “look easy.”
