This song goes real deep with me. Back to 1989 when I was in tx for drugs n alcohol...I thought and cried every day for missing my son...but the rewards were worth it ...I've been clean of it all ever since!!! My son sent this to me, he knows and remembers too😍😍😍 I also played the "88s" many moons ago🙏🌞😍

I got to see you in Atlanta a few years back. It was great. When you asked if I liked Guns and Roses, I answered that I did not like the delivery. I was not into hard rock and the like at that time. However, I started drum lessons. Then, the entire genre made total sense and now I am a great fan of all of it. What a difference perspective can make. Thank you so much for this piece of music.

Look how his left hand wanders around. Unlike Vika. Vika finds the three keys she likes and BAMBAMBAMBAMBAMBAM for 6 minutes. This is much better.

Thank you for being able to share your natural talent with me. I am so honored, and for my Mom too. She sang like a beautiful bitd and my sister Lori has a voice as good as you play the piano. i have to say that your fingers are at home on every single key so they automatically know where to go. AWESOME!

She's definitely a good pianist, however, Scott is more sensible... VK is a bit rough for me (though I also think she's a great pianist)...
@jacobleedgaard596810 жыл бұрын
dzadam32 Are you guys aware he is playing on a grand and Viki is playing on an electronic piano? I also miss the bass in this version which Viki uses a lot more, making it more heavy metal like in my opinion.
@dzadam3210 жыл бұрын
Jacob Leedgaard YOu're right... Viki uses much more bass (IMHO too much), and that's why I prefer Scott to her (however, both of them are naturals...).

although this is good i think vkgoeswild plays it with more passion
@andersvesterholt217011 жыл бұрын
I disagree... Vikas is more detailed, but this has way more passion. Vika hits every note ridiculously hard. And uses the bass end of the piano way too much. This is much more nuanced, in my opinion.
@thedude9517 жыл бұрын
MegaTaurus777 yeah that bass end really gives it off
@tyyy007 жыл бұрын
Personally I hate vk's version of the solo, sounds like its missing multiple parts. She plays it much more aggressively which sounds 'better' because it feels more like the rock song it is, but this is a much more 'beautiful' rendition which I think sounds much more beautiful on the piano
@Kidchipy7 жыл бұрын
Personally I think Scott has more talent, at least he's out there publishing pieces of music and writing original scores, and I own several pieces of his music - so fun to play and you can really tell that he is passionate. This is his career after all.

She's got a smile it seems to me Reminds me of childhood memories Where everything Was as fresh as the bright blue sky Now and then when I see her face She takes me away to that special place And if I'd stare too long I'd probably break down and cry Oh, oh, oh Sweet child o' mine Oh, oh, oh, oh Sweet love of mine She's got eyes of the bluest skies As if they thought of rain I hate to look into those eyes And see an ounce of pain Her hair reminds me of a warm safe place Where as a child I'd hide And pray for the thunder And the rain To quietly pass me by Oh, oh, oh Sweet child o' mine Oh, oh, oh, oh Sweet love of mine Oh, oh, oh, oh Sweet child o' mine Oh, oh, oh, oh Sweet love of mine Oh, oh, oh, oh Sweet child o' mine Oh, Sweet love of mine

I'm 37 years old and have been playing the piano since I was 4 and been playing the keyboards for 19 years with different bands and for me this is the best cover in a solo piano setting, from intro to the melody, to slash's guitar solos, his embellishments..no cover would be more powerful enough unless you put drums, guitars, bass or any other instruments in it..would be too classical or jazzy if overdone..perfect justice for a piano solo cover..unless I could hear your own solo piano version..
