My problem with women is my own fault, well kinda. I am middle aged, fully retired from a career in the military, still handsome enough and stay in shape because I always have been OCD about my appearance. I grew up with a single mother and a sister. They totally f'ed me up to the core. They were both arrogant, entitled, toxic, neurotic and emotionally unavailable and still are to this very day. (I no longer have any contact with either today.) Unfortunately this is exactly what I seek in women and am unconsciously strongly drawn towards. It's a serious problem. So in that I have had zero successful relationships in my lifetime and chronic sexual addiction exacerbated the issue to the extremes. Knowing the problem doesn't always solve it. Today I am Volcel/MGTOW over ten years strong walking the narrow path in Christ instead. I am utterly incapable of seeking and keeping a healthy relationship with great women because I am completely uninterested in those types of women. It's a pickle.

It's been over a year since I've been on a porn site and close to a year since I've masturbated. As a former addict, the urge & temptations will always be there. But what works for me is to keep reminding myself of the downward spiral that comes with porn - the guilt/shame/disappointment/disgust with myself. In the past 30 years you've caused more harm & damage than good...and the worst part, you don't even care. You're not welcome in my life anymore and I'm getting rid of you once and for all.
