Thank you for your comment. I didn't give much thought to the acronym or abbreviation for 'Rolls-Royce' when I posted the video. I just didn't want to write Rolls-Royce in full as I wanted to keep the title short. Now that I looked into this online, looks like RR and R-R are both used. ....But there's a twist! Even though I put 'Showcase' in the title, the purpose of this video is not purely for entertainment. Along with a future 'Cold Start' video, it will be used to sell the Silver Cloud on bringatrailer.com probably around Christmas time. (It's already accepted, but there's a ~ 3-week cue to get listed.) So if you're looking for a R-R Silver Cloud, this one will be available.

Hi Sejfer - Sure, I have no problem with that. The only limitation may be the footage in this video that's filmed in the previous owner's garage and with him driving. It would be up to him to give that permission. I'd like to see your film about the two car marques! ... I also have other Tatra footage I could provide - you can contact me via the 'Contact Us' section of my website: esotericclassics.com (Mluvim Cesky)

This is a non-monetized, purely amateur channel of a Tatra enthusiast. I'm not a professional videographer, so no need to leave nasty messages about poor editing, music or whatever. KZbin will block a video with non-licensed commercial music, so all music is by a friend who's an amateur musician. If you don't like the music, there's lots of licensed commercial stuff on KZbin. We're not competing with The Beatles, Bach or B.G., so take this simply for what it is - a car guy's channel.

wow awesome car what happens to the bumper after you start it? @ 5:54 you see movement of the panel behind the bumper.
@Tatra613Mi5 жыл бұрын
The movement in the panel behind the rear bumper is due to the air blast from the cooling fans on start-up. This sheet metal panel is a flapper that lifts to allow hot air from the engine cooling fans to exit the engine compartment. It’s operated by a thermostat and lifts when the engine compartment reaches a certain temperature. When the car is cold, it stays closed so the cooling air is recirculated for faster engine warm-up.

@@michaelbear2602 Nope, it's totally czechoslovak car, built by Tatra Kopřivnice in former Czechoslovak Socialistic Republic. Tatra had nothing to do with Russians, it used its own designs and technologyies, many of which dating back to pre-WWII Czechoslovakia and Hans Ledwinka.

@Tatra613Mi8 жыл бұрын
Thanks Mike! The music is by a friend who is an "amateur musician" - or better, a music hobbyist. Personally, I think he's just as talented as the big names you hear on the radio. The difference is they have big contracts and he does this just for fun. I use his music in my videos and post his music's web location at the end. It can be found at: paul-ondi.bandcamp.com. Unfortunately, there are only a couple of songs there right now - though I highly recommend "Hearts in Zero Gravity". It's also on my Tatra at Concours in the Hills video. Just checked out your videos - great racing footage! [I'll have to post my wipeout at Bondurant :-)] If you're looking for music for your videos, I'm sure my friend would be happy to provide some.

This is like bringing a cannon to a gun fight! At 0:06, you can hear a drag car rev in the background. It kept revving even as the jet started up. The drag car was completely drowned out by the noise from the jet later on. The camera and audio speakers can't reproduce the power of the jet's sound. Those of us who came prepared, had ear muffs - see the camera crew and TV hostess to my right who were covering this. Everyone else had to cover their ears.
