yeah 30 plus years ago you would have no problem regarding to your safety or even thinking if you are safe because the people then in the government did their jobs and so did the police force who were driving yeelow and blue cars which the police force is a joke and not fully trained to face different situations and to overcome different circumstances of challenges when facing criminals and many more contributing factors have been prevalent. and this is why anc must fall away as theycan no longer protect our country

I have never seen anyone drive a motorbike in Johannesburg CBD. I am a licenced firearm owner and when in Johannesburg CBD and Pretoria CBD I am always on survival mode

@@PandoraPath I do both. I travel to the CBDs on public transport and walk the streets if I am going there to do something as to avoid parking admin. But if I am going through the CBD, I just drive my car. The crime issue is actually unstoppable because I believe its all about bad luck and bad timing. The only time I have ever been successfully robbed in my life was in Thailand. In South Africa I have never been successfully robbed, hijacked or broken into at home. But I am fully aware of the crime issues and situations. In Cape Town CBD my friends and I apprehended a group of pick-pocketers. So its just bad luck in my view, and somehow I think the criminals can sense who they can mess with, just a hunch though

The Government of the ANC did this they let the illegal migrants hijack the city and right now they are taking all the big citys in south africa , there is no law because they feel like they helped us during apartheid times and that's the excuse to destroy south afica , when south africans get tierd of seeing all this and fight back they are called xenophobic.... so our woman are marring foreigns for money and end up being abused , human trafficking , drugs , hijacking houses cars ect its now hard to build south africa u ask ur self in the next 20 years how will it be ? Normal south africans still have hope things will get better but to be honest things are worser then they acknowledge...

My favourite island. Very welcoming for solo travellers. So easy to run casual conversations with strangers on the streets. Not many places like that in the "so called" first world. Enjoy your winters.

We like the relaxed vibe of your video. As frequent visitors of both Gran Canaria & Tenerife we are eager to explore further and are planning a couple of months in the Canaries exploring. La Gomera looks less commercial and beautiful. Definitely on our list of islands to visit. As Brits we're not bothered what nationality the majority of visitors are, happy to mix and explore different languages & cultures. We are hoping to bring our motorcycles to explore and love the mountain roads. Appreciate the work you've put into your video and will check out your other content. Best wishes Richard and Carol

Appreciate your comment. You guys are also travel creators, so you exactly know how much effort and time goes into every video. I highly recommend La Gomera. It is possibly the best island for a relaxed, but yet an adventurous life. Everyone is welcomed there and there is no real aversion between people. I just cited what I found in the internet, though, it was quite funny. You are gonna have a blast there. And for the motorcycle touring ... just a perfect riding conditions and so safe.

i was just there for a month. seen the local buses filling up and the locals unable to get on, so the statement about hippies and germans has an element of truth. If you go there just be mindful for the local people. its a wonderful place.

So this gal got a job first illegally (her "visa" when she first arrived was not a visa that allowed her to work), and then after securing a job(s) of a certain amount of pay, she was able to transition to a proper visa to work. (OK, maybe the law allows her to work without a visa so long as she transitions quickly enough?) While I could see how the cost of living in coastal CA is ridiculous, there are plenty of places in the USA that have affordable housing and where jobs are plentiful (at least now, with the worker shortage), and she'd probably have more extra cash per month, especially since she'd be eligible for lots of benefits for free. From my experience in Warsaw, I can definitively say that the ratio of cost-of-housing to pay is quite high (local folks tell me this all the time).

Thanks for commenting, appreciate it. She had three jobs at some point in San Diego and it was hard for her to make ends meet. Not sure if she would have time for the forth job to have some extra cash...
