How do I do this when the roof is stuck closed? This point is not accessible and nobody in the internet universe seems to have encountered this.

Hi I assume you mean how do you open the roof when it's stuck closed ? As the bolt is not accessible We encounter it all the time when we need to open the roof in order to change a window regulator Regards

@@dimazliadibiasio7209 This video is for a UK model RHD, however the LHD models have the Kessy module in the same location, therefore the fuseboxes should be in the same place as the video

I hope you can help, my boot not opening even with the key. Lifts up a couple of inches on left side but seems to be held back by something on right. This is after roof started behaving oddly and one parking sensor fault. Can you help please?

My roof works fine and rail is in good shape, only the plastic clips are broken. Is there easy way to replace the clips without sliding the entire roof out? Is there a way to slid these clips from the front?

@ unfortunately, it doesn’t appear to be any easy way to replace the plastic guides. I am taking chances with these 3D printed units I found on eBay for a fraction of the cost for the full kit and need to find time to take the whole roof off to replace them.

It looks as though you removed the front section of the sunroof guide rail, did you also remove the rear section of the guide rail. Do you have any video footage of removing the guide rails as this has been edited from the video. Great video.

you turn it once and hold to put windows up or down. twist it twice quickly and hold the second key twist and the roof will go up or down depending on the key direction best wishes

Hey there! Not really relevant to the seats, but I hope you might be able to help me. I'M lloking for theKessy module in a car same as this, couldnt find it though. Looked under the carpet but only found the fuse box that you show on this vid. Is it under the seat or carpet? Thanks in advance

Can the decklet be unlocked while in the up position? I ask because my top opens fine, but when I attempt to close, the top comes all the way up, but the decklet does close. It looks like I have a huge spoiler in the back. I'd hate to go through all the steps if i can just unlock the decklet and close it until i can get it checked out.

You have a fault with one of the sensors, rather just fix this as opposed to the risk of getting locked out Regards Khurrum VagPro

The part number is incorrect, that is for the complete wiring harness.

After you repaired that green wire, did the roof icon stop flashing or did you have to clear the code using vcds?

@tizianlorke1244 i took it to the actual guy in Leicester and he sorted it, it was some sensor and a clip that was out of position

@@DubC-xq4lj you can't do that. Once the roof is repaired the hydraulics with automatically lock them back down

@@DubC-xq4lj Not necessarily Take it to someone who repairs cabriolet roofs. Assuming the reason you had to close it manually is because it didn't close electro hydraulically, therefore there must've been a fault somewhere Regards

@@CabrioletTech it got about 90% of the way closed/up then stopped. I could put it back down no problem but just wouldn’t close all the way, so I jumped the gun and just pulled the levers and now I regret it cause what could of been an easy fix just got harder

@@DubC-xq4lj not to worry, everyone likes pulling the levers. Find yourself a good cabriolet specialist and it'll be a doddle. More than likely a faulty sensor somewhere. Regards
