Man, this brings back memories! I probably watched this over a hundred times as a teen. They put way too many spoilers in it for someone who was just getting into The Twilight Zone, though!

The music is such a great accompaniment. Any thoughts on where to get it?

I made an edit of this sign-off yesterday using the original track to make it stereo. Of course, I had to slow down the track to match the pitch and speed of the song in the sign-off, and I used an AI vocal isolator to get the announcer’s voice on its own, but while editing I ended up making that voice too loud.

This is how I originally discovered Doctor Who, through my PBS affiliate, which was the University of North Carolina Center For Public Television, which is now PBS-NC. I also started watching Red Dwarf and Star Cops at that time. I was hoping they would put Blake's 7, but that never happened.

I loved The Day The Universe Changed, and bought the companion book. And while I ultimately disagreed with the argument he tried to end it with, it was still a very entertaining and thought-provoking show.

I was in my 20s back in 1986 when i started watching Kathy, she always had great food and vegan too. I was still a vegetarian and watching her gave me some great ideas before the internet and vegan explosion. Loved her shows.

SO excited to see more of these episodes up! I taped her back in the 80's as a teen, and her voice would put me to sleep. ASMR before it had a name. Unfortunately I only got about 3 or 4 episodes so it's really neat to see ones I've never seen, decades later!

I wish they released the 1925 Gold Rush. The 1942 version is practically unwatchable due to the constant noise and editing.

ON THE DATE THE SIGNOFF WAS PRODUCED: I think the signoff itself dates to 1987, Hence that was the year Arkansas (You Run Deep In Me) Became the State Song. I also believe that later on, Possibly in the early 1990s, the Signoff film was updated again to have the Full Song played. (That version was the one seen on the Analog Sign off)

When I was a kid, my dad did a Columbia house subscription to where every month we would get a VHS tape of the twilight zone that had this montage at the beginning. 20+ years later I still remembered this montage and I, sadly don’t have those tapes. So I was happy to find this clip in this side of KZbin. Thank you!
