An excellent bit of kit! Recently got my Alice rig with Molle yoke from @carcajoutactical . Set it up with 1 - 9x10 sustainment pouch, 2 - 9x7 sustainment pouches, and 2 - 9x5 pouches for my canteens. Solid rig. Lot of attention to detail , bombproof sewing! Cheers guys from BC 🇨🇦👍🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺

Old rothco BDU work perfect and are often cheaper than buying scrim. Two pairs of pants got me a hat and a rifle. Mist some spray paints over if you're worried about IR but remember you're never fully invisible in this era. Do a very soft press to get big drops and boom you got DIY decaying leaves. Never was in service but I've been doing scrim/camo for 20 years and I cringe at premade stuff a little. Although I'm very very patient and that's not everyone so it's still cool/suggested to mix materials. My biggest gripe is pricing vs effectiveness.

Would love to see some type of pouch that can accommodate 40 round PMAGS. Nothing like it exists and I run 40 rounders on my kit for automatic rifleman type purposes.

I love the reversible cummerbund. Ive been playing around with upside doen mounted pouches on my cummerbunds for a while, exactly for that better accessibility. I also run an upside down tourniquet on a wing out of my rear plate bag for that reason.

Never understood stacking a shitload of ammo on a chest rig... If you're taking a shit ton of ammo, it's because you expect a firefight, if you expect a firefight, you should have armor. In my mind chest rigs should be small and concealable. Something you could stow in a backpack and whip out if shit goes south. Or something to use to carry crucial gear in the wild. I'm planning a solo camping trip to northern Alberta in the next couple years, and I'm going to get a Molle 6 placard and H harness from Carcajou, so I can have a PLB, radio, and a gadget pouch for camera stuff and 6 rounds of 45/70 ammo. That to me is the perfect use case for a chest rig.

I get what your saying, but chest rigs are super versatile. For instance I have a minimalist plate carrier without a placard that I pair with a chest rig like the one you see in the video. In fact if I’m not mistaken it’s also how like 90% of the military does their setup too. I prefer the chest rig because of the added room for storage and it’s easy to pair with a plate carrier.

No, you will need one of our Sustainment pouches, we are planning on making a video on them soon. But, I would suggest our 9X5 Sustainment pouch that fits a 1L Nalgene Bottle with room to spare.
