Thoughts on azamina elzette as a lvl 2 non tuner extender that search sinful subversion going second I'm still testing but it's playable with only 2 doppel in 60 cards but I need to test more against ryzeal and maliss as I'm practicing going against it

Diabellstar by itself does nothing, it was useful when we had original, because it was access to jet, now it does nothing Kashtira engine are interruptions by themselves

Is there a way to be playing Junk Synchron and not be trolling? its my favorite card and I would love to be able to play it still. New to Synchrons in the modern era this deck looks tight.

That talk about optimist vs pessimist was so helpful. I added a few more hand traps to my junk doppel deck (still less than 15 lol) and the good hands just feel stronger and more well-rounded instead of being cloggy. There is such a thing as too much consistency. The only bad thing which I find super funny is that now I feel like my crossouts in the main deck conflict with the rest of my deck. Now it feels like I'm overdoing it, and the crossouts feel more like they should be a side deck card now, where as before they were awesome to have in the main deck. Idk how or why, but thats just how its going rn after doing some test hands. It's almost like "my deck is good enough now, the crossouts in the main deck feel a bit extra" lol.

Congrats on the wins with this list mate, it’s quite unique which is what I love about it. Personally I’m testing Synchron bystial Centurion atm and I’m having some decent success with it to though I could never stomach running 60 cards 😅

The taboo of running 60 cards was from the old days when card pool was more limited and not every other card searches the deck.

I play a 45 card deck. Its the classic adventure and wanted engine plus fenrir. I replaced OSS with sinful spoils snake eye to make going second easier. in addition, i added a playset of tuning and one forone to compensate the banlist to get acces to jet synchron more often. the deck plays the handloop strategy with trishula, omega and dis pater plus majestic star dragon who i am summoning in the opponents turn with crimson and also its played with 0 handtraps, which means im playing with boardbreakers instead (Book of eclipse, droplet, talent, and more in the side deck). Its pretty consistent, but im not sure if its the better approach to the meta compared to the 60 card pile you are playing. I would like testing your version out but i dont like the idea to buy the other kash cards because theyll get a reprint in stampede XD. Merry christmas to all

Forgive my ignorance, I haven't played in a long time. What is the advantage of running 60? Or is it just a necessity because of how many hand traps are needed to have a chance starting second? Only other thing I can think of is it makes sideboarding easier (more non-engine options to drop).

Im trying to understand too. I think besides trying to counter whats needed in the format, you dont want to draw the Tuners except Jet so 60 tries to get you 1 access to Tuner instead of bricking on them. The engines bait the board before committing to Tuning and Overtake which explains the Kash and Adventure. Ironically because of the 60, he has a harder time drawing the Gravity which from what I've seen seems like a important part of his strategy.
