Just got made aware that bane didn’t meet the requirements for souls protection effect. So make sure you don’t make the same mistake I did Feel bad for my round 4 opponent either way, I could of sequenced my turn differently. Golem banish abyss, revive abyss with red zone, meaning I’d still have scarred on field and not have to use red reign.Then protect abyss with soul then.

it's nice that you're into RDA, leo. i get a bunch of your ideas on deck building. i think you should try to run centur-ion engine into it even without calamity. the engine itself fills some spots that the resonator engine misses, like: the field can dump bone/ vision 4free and setup 2 play lines, sweeper gets the chance to use it's full effect when needed and the best part is that we can run trishula which gives the deck extra style points

4:11 the only synchros that make soul’s GY effect live are Scarred, Scarlight, OG RDA, and OG Nova because they all mention “RDA” in its text. If RDA is in its name but not directly written as strictly “Red Dragon Archfiend” in its text then it won’t work. Dumb ruling but that’s how it works. That’s why all the Hot RDAs (Bane, Abyss etc) do not make Soul GY protect / Red Zone pop/ Gaia’s book of moon effect live. Works like that on MD too. Great video but I just wanted to clarify this so nobody thinks you’re cheating moving forward. This is a pretty common mistake people make when playing RDA and it can cost you a game in more official tournaments

​@@o37WoLfunfortunately the ruling is correct. It has to mention the monster named "Red Dragon Archfiend", not the words "Red Dragon Archfiend", a "Red Dragon Archfiend" monster, etc. It's the same reason Magician's Rod can't search The Eye of Timaeus

I just rather have RDA and hot red in rotation with Gaia, instead of using everything for nova. I’ll test it out again, maybe it works better with the trap variant.

It works. However it's weak against super poly or imperm. But you get 1 wipe with red reign + 1 wipe with supernova + bring back with red zone + another wipe with supernova.

And I also like to play 1 red resonator Because of the life point effect. And since it's a lvl 2, it also helps to make supernova.

@@somehowrockingfloor3395 you can calamity lock with burning soul, the quick play spell in the structure deck and make him on your opponent’s turn. Also a trap card called synchro call that makes calamity locking even easier and harder to stop! Hope this helps.

while i agree that supernova is bad, it's also funny to banish the entire opposing field, bring it back with zone, and let them set up another since it has no once per turn

I liked the video, would it be that adding a red screen would not be a good one? It prevents the opponent from declaring attack and is still searchable with Gaia.

The issue with red screen is it’s not an interaction. I would want Gaia to search golem or red zone almost every time. In order for screen to be good it would mean I need to see skill drain or 2 other traps.

3 Lubellions, and 1 Magnamhut + 1 Shining Star Dragon could make wonders with Calamity. Especially if Crimson Dragon is included as well. There are so much options to build this deck now, I honestly do not know which one could be the best. Currently I'm playing with aforementioned version, but I might try out this trap heavy build as well

@@o37WoLf "Red Dragon Archfiend monster" still doesn't mention OG "Red Dragon Archfiend". If what you're saying is true then crimson gaia and red zone would work with any RDA monster. For reference, Red Nova Dragon works because he mentions OG RDA for the required materials.

You could always run the wandering king wildwind as a extrender that with crimson alone is also full combo Or you could play extra copies of bone archfiend with this tech card called "void apocalypse" that is basically a extra foolish for bone

You can run resonator command at 3 and lotus at one and run a higher resonator engine! I made an amazing budget build using the structure deck and $25 worth of staples and topped my locals twice with it. I have the sauce.

I got 3rd this time . I only losted once . I'm still confused on how the rules work work with ranking 😂 the guy I beat got 2nd . Final round I losted, because I didn't have a follow up when my Soul got veilered and my hand I had to wasted with droplet just to play 😂😂 . I losted to voiceless voice.
