A dexamethasone test, which measures cortisol and ACTH levels. I have been advocating for cortisol and ACTH testing since 2021. Gradually, some doctors are beginning to understand its importance. However, the ACTH test is rare in Germany, as most endocrinologists have lost patience with insurance companies, meaning it often requires out-of-pocket payment or drive many KM.

My dad passed away in May 2022 aged 88. He developed dementia in his late 70s, as did his older sister who also passed away after suffering complications from dementia. His younger sister has now been diagnosed with it. They all suffered atrial fibrillation and high blood pressure. His younger brother is now terrified that he will develop dementia because he also has problems with high blood pressure and diabetes, but not atrial fibrillation.

@@MMimi-mg4qt exactly. Also, my dads father passed away in 1952 from a heart attack, aged only 44, so partly genetic too. My dads older brother, a very fit, muscular police officer during the 60s, 70s and 80s, also had heart problems, and died of a heart attack aged 79, but did not develop dementia, although he may have, had he lived as long as my dad. So that’s practically all his brothers and sisters have had similar health conditions. I think people who inherit health conditions like this may have to work a little harder to keep them at bay. My dad never smoked or drank alcohol, and his diet was pretty good. Hence, he lived a fairly healthy life until these conditions took over.

@@eveoakley6270 In my opinion, and some more qualified researchers, most of the health problems are individual and ppl having the same bad habits get easily classified as "genetic"problems - excuse for not taking serious discipline in right food choices and healthy habits, treating cause instead of results, relying on very dangerous medication ( that can seriously damage one thing while "healing" other) instead living healthy.

@@MMimi-mg4qt I’m not saying it’s not down to lifestyle, but there are genetic tendencies too. If you have a family history of heart disease you are more likely to develop heart disease yourself. Different types of heart disease and related conditions, such as hypertension and high cholesterol, can run in families. It is very telling that my dads father died of a heart attack at the age of only 42, then all of his offspring get the same conditions. None of them were overweight and out of the five of them only one ever smoked. Out of them, five of their offspring have high high blood pressure, two of them since their twenties, one of them is now 60, also never smoked or ever been overweight. I’m all for being responsible for your own health, as I have always been. Now aged 62, specialised chem review status - all normal. That includes Lipids non-fasting/cholesterol, Thyroid function, Serum free T4 level, HBA1C (diabetes), Blood pressure, liver function, urea & electrolytes and blood oxygen saturation. However, I fainted last March due to being dehydrated through suffering a bout of Norovirus. I smashed my skull of a concrete floor and suffered a traumatic brain injury which caused a brain bleed. I have bounced back, but I’m now being pestered by my GP to take Statins. They can shove them because I fail to see if everything is normal and my brain bleed was caused by outside trauma through fainting I’m at a loss as to why I should take them.

Good timing. Have seen a spike in vascular dementia since 2021. I think the spike protein penetration of the blood vessel walls, like little pop rivets turning the walls into cobblestone instead of smooth is one of the problems that has accelerated in occurrence.... HBP and AFib and microthrombi and lesions and even prion like protein folding etc. Especially seeing a large number of what present as ministrokes, but do not meet the ministroke criteria... More like small regular strokes.

My mother checked all those "boxes." In her 60's she had several ischemic strokes. They stopped after about 3 months and never returned. 20 yrs later...she got A-Fib. The moment she was diagnosed with that...she began to Decline. She convinced herself that A-Fib meant "certain death". She was on it for two years before her death. By 85...she had FULL-BLOWN Vascular Dementia. I am not sure when she was given BP Medicine but likely many years ago...after the "mini-stroke period" I know she was taking it towards the end of her life. She was diagnosed with VD in 2021. She died in her sleep...in May 2023. It was incredibly fast. The doctors told us that because Vascular Dementia Plaques move more quickly to the brain through the blood vessels and arteries...it can END Someone much more quickly than Alzheimers does. I'll vouch for that reality. My father currently has Alzheimers. Both our parents had different forms of Dementia...at the same time. He was diagnosed 4 years ago but can still function some...but he is approaching Severe ALZ. However...he is still more functional than my mother with her VD was. Our father has no other health conditions...so he could live some more years still...while declining into a vegetative state. I consider that a Miserable FATE. Statistics say that 1 out of 3 people will get some form of cognitive decline...and not the OLD AGE kind. We have a family friend who was diagnosed with ALZ 15 yrs ago and she only stopped speaking...3 months ago. She had been semi-functional at HOME with ALZ for the first 10 yrs and in a Dementia Ward for the past 5 years. She went from being a World Traveler...to being in a non-communicative state 15 yrs later.. She is still breathing on her own and eating some...so she may stick around some more years. I cannot imagine struggling with any of these diseases for that many years. That is horrifying. Our SAVING...will be CRISPER TECHNOLOGY. Scientists say THAT will make these diseases "a thing of the past." It's gonna likely be too late for some of us...but at least we can be hopeful that our children and our descendants will NEVER deal with these horrors in their lifetimes. Cancers, MS, ALS, Quadriplegia, Paralysis, Parkinsons...all will become a part of our past...like Cholera, Polio, and other Life-Stealing Diseases ARE. To anyone watching this video...I hope none of you have to deal with any of these horrific diseases yourselves.

But isn’t colchicine bad for your liver? Also, taking it daily would be impossible, it causes diarrhea sometimes so bad and uncontrollable that well… you can’t make it in time if you know what I mean. For me it’s 1 or 2 days of colchicine and my gut is done. I only take it when I feel my gout is coming and I’m also stupid enough to know what causes my gout and despite that, it’s still happening.

@MrDomestosWC
@MrDomestosWC 8 ай бұрын
@@onetwocue I agree with the pain but how does colchicine relate to heart attacks? You mean that elevated uric acid levels damage your heart? If so, colchicine DOES NOT lower uric acid levels. Your high uric acid is still there and is till damaging your joints. Colchicine just stops your body from addressing that problem. It's a patch, not a solution. Just copy and paste from arthritis website: "An attack of gout is caused when the body’s immune system attacks uric acid crystals that form in the joints, tendons and surrounding tissues. Colchicine works by disrupting the ability of immune system cells to replicate. This helps to reduce inflammation and patients who take colchicine can benefit from reduced swelling and pain associated with gout attacks. " If you wish to address the problem permanently, use uric acid lowering medications such as allo.

36 years old male, and i am ill over a year. I couldn't get chance to vaccinate before infection. I am living hell. And it isn't about the respiratory system. I got infected in april 2021. Before covid i had gi issues like ibs flatulence etc.. but i could live with them. After covid it is like my GI problems started to have their own neurological problems. Involuntarily swallowing (!) started. My tongue and jaw started to loosen. It is unseen. I felt like there was a tremor and tension through my throat-esophagus track. After losing 15 pounds, 3-4 weeks later i got little better and gained my appetite, but then i spit light red blood like 15-20 times with stomachache and throatache in June 2021. I did endoscopy immediately but they didn't find anything. Then everything got worse. I lost my appetite for good over a year. I am experiencing a worsening throatache that no ENT professors can detect with camera. I have examined by over 60 professors. Gastroenterologists, ENT Professors, Neurologists etc.. i did blood tests, endoscopies, colonoscopy, CTs, MRs even EMGs. I did incellkine interleukine bloodtest panel. VEGF and CCL5 (Rantes) parameters came up high. But the doctors can not make a connection between these parameters and my symptoms. Throat pain is killing me. Loss of appetite, fatigue.. these are also challenging. I have other symptoms but i dont know how can i bare this throat pain. Gabapentine isn't working. Diclofenac isn't working. They can not tell any reason other than long covid

Interesting summary. I got neurological adverese effects from beta blockers for some reason when trying to control heartrate after covid and the symtpoms persisted long after I stopped taking them. Now a year later I evetually got ivabradine subscribed instead, and I don't have any side effects from them. But they mostly only help with heartrate and not the exaggerated force my heart beats with. Thats the most annoying symptom from the heart right now. I no longer have the classic POTS symptoms I had before. Not even without ivabradine. 6 months ago I would get 150 bpm just by walking. And I seem to have hyperadrogenic POTS. So I get really high spikes, especially in diastolic BP just by standing or walking. Just by standing my diastolic BP could go all the way up to 136. Since my heart rate have come down in general, I only take small doses of ivabradine when needed. But as I said the power of each stroke are too strong still. And for thar Ivabradine doesn't seem to help that much. Before covid I had a hard time to even feel my own heart with the hand over the chest. Now I feel every stroke throughout the body and in different body parts. I believe that maybe the blood vessles are inflamed? I've gotten this spot on the bridge of the nose with visable damaged blood vessles and it now starts to look like a big spot of scar tissue and I feel the pulse there when lying down especially. It's even painful from time to time. Then I have got low back pain, pelvic pain and the pain radiats down in my legs when I shift the poisotion of the spine and stretch me hips in different directions. Especially when laying down. And worst of all... The severe erectile dysfunction. It hasn't improved when heartrate have come down. At night when sleeping and I normally would get an erection I still get some kind of erection but I'd guess it's 50% of what it was before. And it's kind of useless. Me and my girlfriend have had sex two times in about 13 months now. I'm 38 years old btw and had no issues before covid.

@@elioelioinmel5336 Yeah it really gets to you at an existensial level. Our sex drive is probably one of the stronger forces that drives through life in general. @@ChrisKadaver I read that long covid does affect the nerve system, somebody says the vagus nerve. I believe that is the cause of insomnia, headache, etc. The vagus nerve is responsible for the regulation of internal organ functions, such as digestion, heart rate, and respiratory rate, as well as vasomotor activity, and certain reflex actions, such as coughing, sneezing, swallowing, and vomiting.
@ChrisKadaver
@ChrisKadaver 2 жыл бұрын
@@elioelioinmel5336 Yes that is correct. Also erectile function. But other than that can a damaged vagus nervre most likely also cause sleep apnea. And sleep apnea in itself can cause a high heartrate, erectile dysfunction, high isolated diastolic blood pressure (which I have got after covid), and in the long run it can cause heart failure if not treated. So I think it can be a mixture of different things. I also did get numbness in the genital area and severe back pain when I got sick. So I also suspect I got some nerve damage as well locally in the sacral area, or that I have some chronic inflammation because I have had pain in my hips the last year also.

And in long covid with all the endothelial dysfunction? How to treat it? I have palpitations, either high hart rate or super hard heartbeats that I feel throughout the body. I got sick in april and all these symptoms are still present. I have ortostatic hyptertension isolated to diastolic blood pressure. It can go up as high as 135 in diastolic pressure just by walking up the stairs or if I just get a little stressed by something. Also I have severe erectile dysfunction and I'm "only" 37. I don't want to live like this and I havent yet got any treatment. Since I never tested positive with covid19 when I got sick in april I feels my doctor doesn't believe me. I'm certain it was covid because I eventyally lost the ability to smell and when the smell came back, everything smelled like garbage for a about a month or two. Also I got a caugh. I believe I took the covid test to early. When I took it I just had been in contact with people who had it, and took a test before my symptoms really had started. And later I never got a test so... I got betablockers but when I took them I got some severe symptoms that reminded of cauda equina syndrome and ended up at the emregency room. I lost the sensation of my inner thies and lost control of sfinkter while I had a really bad pain in the lower back. But the MRI never revield anything so... I don't know why I reacted like that on the betablockers. Metoprolol was it I think.
