You already drilled all those pre-break, so they all have a hole to fill… You said you don’t need to drill Bullseye but you did to make the break.

Some chips will require what is called, :drilling and tapping a bullseye" (mini bullseye) to get the resin to flow into the break. This video is showing how to practice doing that. Breaks that already have a bullseye do not have to be drilled. Good video. But you need to buy the tool as well as the glue, maybe more expensive than a new windshield.

yes, that is called the pit. It is the piece of glass that was chipped out of the surface. It is less visible after it is polished with pit polish which we did not do in this video.

Amazon has laminated glass which one do you recommend if you can please have a look and make a recommendation and the price seems pretty cheap anywhere from five dollars all the way up to 40.

I looked and is seems to not have the choice as to whether it is tempered or laminated glass. You would be better going to a local glass distributor or retail shop and getting a 3" x 4" flat laminate.

Which injector has more vacuum? The one from the bridge or the one with the larger chamber? The one with the larger chamber looks similar to a GladWeld zoom.

The Quick-Turn Injector in the Wonder Bar Bridge with the piston O-rings has more vacuum at about 28hgs. The Hybrid Tool has about 20-22hgs.

@@UltraBondWindshieldRepair Thank you. I really appreciate on your website and these videos how you present data and demonstrate to sell your product instead of marketing and unsubstantiated claims. Glasweld advertises their injector has the highest vacuum on the market but when asked for an actual number they wouldn’t provide it. I am not trying to bad mouth them and I am sure they have a fine product but I like to make decisions on data.

Would you be able to recommend a repair business that uses these products and techniques in the Fort Myers, Florida area? I need to get my daughter’s car windshield fixed. I will not allow the insurance company to have a new windshield installed. If the factory seal is broken I’d get a new car. The Barbara Walters 20/20 expose with Arnold Diaz was an eye opener.

Thanks for the great information. It was the confirmation I needed for what my gut was telling me (to stay away from LED). Part of my job working on semi trucks is to repair and replace windshields. I just ordered a light from Ultra Bond, hopefully now, during the winter, I won't have to replace so much glass for a small rock chip.

This is excellent. However, it is so difficult to find a shop with this much of experience in repairing windshield crack nowadays. Most of the shop would prefer a complete replacement.
