Great technique - stands the test of time. Not sure if you're still answering questions but I tried practicing drilling and tapping a bullseye a regular sheet of glass to which I attached some heavy duty tape on the back (as support to mimic the PVB layer. When I tapped to create the bullseye, a star crack appeared and totally shattered my practice glass. Should I assume that real windshield laminated safety glass will behave differently and not create a huge star crack or was I possible doing something wrong?

This is excellent. However, it is so difficult to find a shop with this much of experience in repairing windshield crack nowadays. Most of the shop would prefer a complete replacement.

I got a older model used full kit off eBay for very fair price. just experimented with a very old dirty long crack in middle of my windshield extending from bottom all the way past middle. It looks better but not much. Atleast it won't get any bigger. Does the three Injector method work better for edge cracks?

Why did you not cure the point under pressure?

Because I put 400 in the drilled hole and tapped bullseye. 400 does not need to by cured under pressure like 45 and 90 needs to be.

Where are you located I have an old car I need a small 4 inch edge crack repaired amd no one will do this. I wouldn't be comfortable doing it but am willing to pay good money to have it done

High speed. Use high speed and low torque.

The inside layer cannot be repaired.

whats the point of priming the point

+CHIEFYCAN2 Wetting, wicking and to drop the viscosity a bit to help get the resin flowing into the tightest part of the crack. If the glass is warm or hot it is not needed to prime the point.
