Woman here, never thought id ever agree with anything AT said! Not all of it, but def the idea of resilience and not giving into emotions, it really is the luxury of the privileged! I am a full time carer for my adult son who is disabled, just me, so it doesn’t matter how im “feeling” i still have to take care of him, there is no other option other than putting him in residential care which will NEVER happen! So i fully agree with the idea that self indulgence is for the weak and weak of mind.

"Pearl" is an extremely unattractive human being. I pity the desperate man who ends up with this broken, bland woman. Judging by the state of the comments, not a lot of people like her and it's not hard to see why.

He is lying when he said he didnt need anyone, that he can resolve anything on his own. He needs Gods guidance. A power stronger to watch over him. Only when you let go of the selfish, defensive, and competitive attitude ad become humbled and meek in Gods presence you can discover truelly who you truelly are.

It is so refreshing that Andrew has finally decided to get therapy, even very wise people can easily see that his misogynistic, cynical, God-complex, avoidant detachment style, dishonest, egotistical, highly narcissistic, overly defensive, hero-victim delusional mindset has been on display for a very long time and it has been screaming for help & healing. We all need help in this life and him admitting that he actually exploited men and women for his own gain is a step toward his growth & honesty. I am very happy that my brother has allowed himself to receive help as well which is true strength and growth. Kudos brother 💪🏻
