Then I come to learn that the Hebrew Masoretic Text with the Aleppo Codex being written under the Abbasid Caliphate which is the same group that was compiling the Koran. Also looking into the Latin Vulgate there are places where it has higher degree of agreement with the LXX (Septuagint) over the later Masoretic Text.

The septuagint from my research is a much more credible translation than the masoretic. The LXX was the scriptures used by Jesus and the early church!

Just because the septuagint is better than masoretic or vulgate, does not mean codex vaticanus has the best New Testament translation. Jesus being raised in Egypt likely learned the septuagint. Yet, just because a Bible used the septuagint does not infer its accuracy concerning the Gospels. They could be corrupted as the masoretic had been. Dont use a Bible solely because it used the septuagint. Also, the apocrypha wasn't necessarily considered scripture by its translators. If ptolomy asked for scripture, fable, and legends to be translated.
