If you’re reading this I did take 6 college classes, and I still work in a Harris teeter to clean in my 20’s, and I’m learning to drive at 24 years old because in the past I have driving anxiety. I’m going to decide to join the Air Force at 25 to find great opportunities and learn more motivation. - Josh Thank you for anyone no matter what age that they served for this country.

No matter when you join the Military, if you do join, no matter which branch, when they claim to promise you job training in the field of your choice, it only applies to a technical school than will train you in that field, but that is only training for that job. The needs of the military always come first, so no matter what field you go to technical school for, after you complete that training, you could end up in a job that you were not trained in, wherever they need you, and it could be a job that you hate.

I just need to lose some more pounds, grew up on bases when my father was in. Right now there are no jobs even with my college degree in CS. So im thinking of trying to join the army at 32 and see if they will have me since i cant get anything above 11$ an hour .

@@BryanFerra degree as in the angle of the kyphosis. normal range for a spine is between 20-40 degrees. Anything over this is considered kyphosis. Doctors usually give you a number when you have a scan. Thought you might have had a scan done thats all.

I planned on joining with my buddy after highschool went down talked to the recruiter, Did the practice asvab at his office then my buddy got a girl and decided not to join… He’s the one that convinced me to do it with him so I felt weird doing it alone and b*tched out and kinda ghosted the recruiter😂 But now 2 years later ik it’s something I don’t wanna look back on and regret either, So I’m willing to sign any papers the recruiter wants. Do I dare go down to the same place I went before? Pretty sure the same recruiters are there, Thanks.

99% of the time, people won’t do anything during those years. Besides maybe go to college and get a job. Everyone back home will still be doing the exact same thing when you get out or resign. I had fomo a lot. But realized very fast nothing changed at home.

Aye man! I have no idea if your still active on this channel but I’m 21 years old always wanted to do firefighting or corrections or CHP/PD but I felt like I needed to get a college degree in order to be successful. Wasted 3 years after college trying to get a degree I wasn’t interested in. Do you think military good option? The reason I want to go is because mainly that I felt like the military well help me get the assertive, determined, disciplined, and strong mindset for any government job I’m looking into. Also especially if everything that’s going on right now;?8 want to serve and protect our country🇺🇸. What’s your thoughts, military would help me get that mindset for first responders job?

This veteran is against it. After every war there's downsizing. There was RIFT (Reduction In Forces), Palace Chase, Force Shaping, and other programs that politely kicked service personnel out the door. Evaluations are critical to remain in. A bad evaluation, a nutty spouse, tart boss, capricious supervisor, DWI, credit trouble, or popularity may not get you selected to stay in. So, would you be better in 4 years if pushed out? Have fun living the next 10 months with teenagers and their drama.

I am 35 and a CNA in a Nursing home. I got certified because of covid's shut down in 2020 and worked in nursing homes since then. Been trapped at $15 an hour with unlimited overtime. I'm really thinking about it man... I'm 35 and bald, with some grey hairs and worried about being around all those youngsters.

If you’re stuck at 15 an hour I think you’re not searching hard enough. Don’t do to the military if you think it’ll pay more. I think you’ll only qualify for the navy at that age as well.
