Not sure if you still have the truck, but did you ever do a video showing the program procedure for the keys ?

You can program the keys with AldaObd, but it's risky. You only get one chance to program and if it's not successful, you have to buy a new RF hub. I paid the dealership to program them. I have had AlfaObd lock up while trying to program other modules and that's fine because you can start over and do it again. Not with the RF hub. One shot, that's it.

The software doesn't work with iPhone. Just buy a cheap android phone or tablet and download the software to it over WiFi. I bet you could find one for $20 easy.

I have the 8.4" display and I change all three setting in ALFAOBD and I can't see the option for adding trailer settings, different trailers with names and settings. I will try again tomorrow. Not sure why I can't see those. Nice video!!

The company I bought it from is out of business. You can make one. Call the junk yards to get the aux switch panel. You'll need some wire. Amazon sells the exact same relay box with the relays. The hard part will be finding harness connectors to make the pass-through harness on the back of the aux panel.@@TravelWithTheHs

Another tip, instead of scrolling through the whole list, there's a search bar at the top. For example you can search for Daytime, DRL, LED, HID or whatever setting you're looking for.

You can specify which lights you want to be the DRL's. On your headlights (reflectors) the factory setting would be the high beams. If you had projector headlights, the factory setting would be in your turn signals. You can also choose fog lights. The dropout setting is for when you put your turn signal on, the DRL on that side will turn off, making the turn signal more noticeable.

You can turn on puddle lights, but it's not called puddle lights in the computer. it's called mirror approach lights, or something like that. It's in the video. You can delete trouble codes, but if it's an issue still present, like a tailight out, it will come back on

I have a 2022 RAM 1500 DT Laramie that has this feature installed... Great!... however, when enabled, the side view mirrors do not tilt down "slightly" as described in the manual, but all the way down to the fully tilted position. This is a worthless setting as all I can see is the pavement. What if someone is walking by or there are other obstructions? Use the backup camera you say! Why can't I set the position of the reverse mode to a place that suits my needs and have it be saved like the driving mode has memory? I want to set the mirrors to see the bottom of the rear tires in the bottom of the mirror's view while still seeing what is approaching such as a curb, lines, or parking bumper I am backing toward, as well as a little beyond without having to look at the backup camera's monitor! This would also apply to parallel parking in the street. With this setting disabled, I can of course manually (with the switches) lower the mirrors (one at a time) to the view I want, but that of course means that once I go back into drive or park, the mirrors must be reset to driving mode which defeats the purpose of the memory mirrors! DOES DEVICE AND THE ALPHAOBD APP OFFER THE ABILITY TO EITHER SET THE BOTTOM POSITION ONCE TO THE FDRIVER'S TASTE, OR BETTER STILL ENABLE THE MEMORY FEATURE FOR REVERSE LIKE THE DRIVING MEMORY DOES? OR does anyone out there have any thoughts on activating this option?

There is not an option to set the travel on the mirror's tilt. Only on and off. That's a nice truck. I was looking at the 22's.

Awesome instructions. Do you know if your dodge does not have the motorized fold back as stock and you install tow mirrors with fold back option, is it pre-wired or do you have to install another switch? My garage door only gives me 4 inches space on each side with stock mirrors, so tow mirrors will have zero room, thus the need for motorized fold back. Thank you

I bought my ruck used, and it had an aftermarket camera. I took it off and put a factory mopar camera on it. The difference between them is the factory harnesses were already on my truck, so I was able to plug it right in. The quality is better, and my guide lines move when I turn the wheel. The factory cameras are cheaper quality, you have to cut wires to install, and the guide lines do not move.

Thank i bought my 2013 slt used but found a killer deal on a 2019 classic tailgate with factory camera, but my slt doesn't have the harness only for the unlock and lock of the tailgate....

@CASPER95150 Valencia you might be able to make it work. The main thing would be your radio. Whether or not your radio has backup camera functionality. If it does, you can either buy or make a pass-through harness.

The mirrors I installed were not power folding. In order for me to do that, I would have to replace the modules inside the doors and replace the switches on the driver side door. I don't know the part numbers but you can get them from a junk yard. That would be the best option.
