Best advice: Get 4+ balloons on the right side (left ones are a trap.) Next section (always travel left => right when dodging birds/getting balloons) stay away from center at the end of it (trap). Next section (always travel right => left when dodging birds/getting balloons) narrow path is left and right path is a trap at the end... finish fast is ideal/lowers risk of birds trolling you.

For anyone who didnt see the Yagyu Darkblade at the location he has guided us to its okay just keep going back and forth until the loot finally presents itself. It will appear it just take some time to spawn. 😅

I just unlocked this shop in chapter 2 through extreme stubbornness and came looking for which Materia I should be purchasing cause I can only afford one. I had no idea this was going to unlock such incredibly overpowered materia, I was just trying to push myself through as many missions as I could. This boss rush was extremely fun. By the 5th one, I just boosted attack across the board since I planned on taking no damage. Each dodge can be followed with a 3 hit combo and then dodging away. Jump materia was a godsend to just increase the rate of damage while also utilizing it as a dodge for the shot attacks, including the instant death shot. Damage and dodge in one action. I had a gravity but didn't attempt to use it. Honestly though, with practice, you could easily go no materia on all 5 of them once you get the hang of it. Zach is lv 23 and I'm afraid I've removed all difficulty from the story for quite awhile. The ogre looking things seemed like a roadblock, but Barrier materia, Bulletproof vest, HP Up(I don't have a plus version), and Titanium Bangle all really helped me just barely survive those specials.

The book on the shelter was the fail mission, i put king and it was wrong

So my party is squall, zell and edea, I've been doing a no leveling up til this point so they're level 7, 8 and 100, edea junctioned cerberous 4x st def so bad breath is nothing, but I noticed if I use level up one time, bringing them up to level 90, they drop 10 curse spikes every time, so 10 fights gives a dark matter

This sucks. Ive done all the clues but no boss spawns when i use the item. Even doubled checked. I have save points all around it tho that say awoken. Fuck knows im just gonna finish the game now.

Nicely done, but I believe you should emphasize that the rewards will be different (and in particular that you won't receive the Saturn Sigil) if you do the races too early in the game. You receive the sigil only if the races are completed after you've gotten control of the airship.

Massive L of a game. Continuity out of the window. Imagine losing everything when you moved to disc 2 on the original 😅 glad i didn't waste money on this scam.

I love this game but the only fault I have with it is that there arent really any strong secret bosses or optional bosses to make you feel like making your characters super strong, even ozma isn't that hard compared to the weapons in ff7 for example imo

actually farming to level 100 is a double edged sword, your stats do get stronger, but its best if your characters the Plus stat features from GF abilities, just like the Plus stat features in ff6 with espers where if you level them they get increased stat from your plus stat.
