Cid's motion capture actor has seemingly been photographed a while back so I imagine he will be there but may not join us until we saves the party in Junon during the weapon attack. Keep up the great updates mate love seeing these.

I reacted badly, not gonna lie. I felt a bit betrayed that we waited for so long and got teased so much-- only to be told he will just be an AI in Rebirth. However, given some time to contemplate, I can understand their decision. This also seems to elude to the idea that Vincent will have a bigger role to play in part 3, and we may end up getting extended content, like a DLC or even a DoC remake. Either way, they know Vincent is well loved and tons of people are upset. But perhaps they will make up for it in part 3.

Wonder how Vincent's synergy moves (if they still use those in the third game) would work. Like, how would a gun couple with Tifa's fists? At least Barret has the physique to do other things besides shooting, like throwing Nanaki. Or would Vincent turn into one of his monsters to do something? But if that's the case, then what'd be left for his limit breaks? So many questions.

i was hoping that for ffvii they would have went more realistic in the voice acting (sick of cliche/corny anime voice acting) 1 made it less tweenish 2 and not messed with the base story 🤦🏽‍♂️ If they aren't playable i will officially have lost hope for SE and jrpg gaming as a whole.

If you recall back to Remake trailers, there were many people and moments we didn't see until late in the marketing campaign. I wouldn't stress too much, and keep in mind Rebirth is going to be 100 hours... I think we'll have plenty to distract us until the part 3 100 hour game comes.

They probably can't get it implemented into the battle system in time for release and don't want to delay the game any longer than needed. Personally about Cid, I'm going to take a guess and say they will reveal him closer to release day to cover his space within the party. Good video, keep it up.

Ey Fuzzy! Im still a bit disappointed we cant form or create parties in these next gen FF7 games(Besides parties in main story) I mean there are so many playable characters as we know from the OG. Not going to happen im afraid. Guess we have to accept. Still cant wait till end feb 2024 though! Saw some new footage of Rebirth and u can see that u now also can pick up items just as in Horizon ZD/FW. Proof that Hamaguchi likes Horizon Games

I think we're going to get an intergrade style dlc for Rebirth as well featuring Vincent Valentine. (God, I hope so anyway.) I also wonder if Cid will be in this entry, but maybe they're keeping it on the DL because he'll be played by someone recognizable like Troy Baker or some actor they want to be a surprise. At the very least he has to be present in this one even if not as a party member right?

I hope this is a joke but just in case. Vincent has the same issue that red XIII has. He is obtained too late in the story. Because the games are broken into sections by the time you get Vincent you are already near the end of the story and it wouldn't make sense to shove another character play style that deep in the game.

I first played remake upon release and was so disappointed for so many factors and red not playable did it for me , recently decided to pick up again and the game is actually very good still not amazed but now I see we’ll breed chocobos again excited to see but why not play with Vincent :( no one cares about cid he should drink his goddamn tea and leave
