Reasonably High general Salaries are normally followed by High Prices, so it is expensive to live in Denmark! But also very comfortable. Finn. Denmark

Hi Todd, Hope you guys are doing well, I need your expertise on a coffee machine. Our Bonavita machine just stopped completing the brewing cycle. Starts and then stops after running 2 cups, is it repairable? if not I was looking at Technivorn Moccamaster starting to get $ How does the machine on your video compare to the others. Thx Ron

Hey Ron, You might want to look up the Technivorm Moccamaster as I think that would ship up there. The one in the video I think is only in the US. Hope all is well and you've been enjoying fall!

I was there in 1991 and loved it. Will always remember the pink sand beach and the turquoise water... So gorgeous! Re: your ant problem... Amdro works great. You sprinkle it around the perimeter of the house, a complete ring around the outside (no gaps). Same thing... The ants take it back to the nest & gives it to the others. Stops everything for months. Works great here in Hawaii, where I live now. Thanks again for letting me see this beautiful place in Eleuthera once again! Lovely memories!

What does the water do before u grind them? are you supposed to i never have have i been doing it wrong?
@Luke-we9gj Жыл бұрын
The pre grind spritz is to eliminate static electricity which keeps the grinds from getting stuck to the inside of the machine. Less static electricity means less stickage resulting in easier cleanup and a more accurate yield of how much grounds you get related to how many beans you put in.

Good Snow. Where I live (near DC) we have had one-half inch of snow more than Eleuthera. My wife and I went to the Island for a week with some of her ex-GO of Club Med Friends. Good time except that TS Nicole was off shore. Went to Harbour Island on the day before the Storm passed by. Shared a boat with Eliot of Tippy's and his brother-in-law.

What are you roasting with lately Todd? I still have my old Behmor 1600 Plus, and just got my first Fresh Roast SR800 and extension tube. Roasts small batches but super easy. I got the Behmor 2000 ab Plus, but sent it back. First roast on it started a fire inside!
@ToddVendituoli Жыл бұрын
Yikes. We started with a small 3 lb roaster and just added a new 10 lb one so we can roast quite a bit of coffee now. The next one up require 3 phase electricity so that will be something totally different. With these we can do about 80 lbs an hour if needed.

This is two years late, but a mobile coffee trailer would make more sense. My friends have a trailer that they sell their Jaime canned pickles, relishes, jellies, charcuterie boards, etc. they hit all the regional festivals etc., and sell out quickly. The coffee trailers do well around here. You could sell coffee drinks, roasted beans and cookies. Keep it simple. Just a thought. Either sell from your trailer (done up cute) from your property then hit all the local festivals and farmers markets.
@ToddVendituoli Жыл бұрын
There’s a guy we sell to that built a trailer and makes excellent coffee. It’s tough here because of winter cold and having to keep the heat on 24/7 so nothing freezes up.
