They make plenty of original designs too. The Chinese don't have a monopoly on "stealing other people's designs" either. There are Swiss Made copies of Rolex designs. I'm a big fan of Seiko designed dive watches, but I look at Chinese made homages because very often they are are better quality and cheaper.

Agree with your argument, and totally get your point. However, the price gap and exclusivity is not even comparable. That’s why people just give up and go with the homages.

Also let the perfume macerate a couple of weeks. The ingredients need time to come together and blend.

Weight it. Don't use drops, that's not a very precise method. Use a digital scale made for grams and milligrams.

@@aniini it’s a very stiff leather so it will take a while to break in. The PRX definitely is not the most comfortable watch to wear unfortunately. I think the rubber straps are best for comfort.

Yeah sounds easy. I've got the tool and all but... I cannot break the back loose and I have applied what I would say is an enormous amount of force. Kinda wanted to repair my Seiko kinetic for the price of a new capacitor rather than over $100 to Seiko. No dice. $200 buys a new Citizen eco drive. I'll never buy any other watch.

@@thepolgol it would not. Grade 2 titanium is a little darker and has a different sheen than 316 or 904 stainless steel. You would need to stick to grade 2 titanium brackets for it to match.

Do you know if there is an alternative oyster style bracelet that would conform to the wrist better? personally have the BB58 with bracelet and I have the same problem but not a fan of jubilee bracelets.

How would you classify the Zenith El Primiro Rainbow reference number 30-0360-400? Is it a tool racing chronograph (since it even has a tachymeter), or a dress watch (since it's gold, lacks lume, and has a leather strap), or is it a sports watch overall? Or how about the Zenith El Primero 40 Rainbow in 18k gold?

@@Aries0098 I’d see them similar to Rolex’s precious metal sports (aka professional) models. They began as tool watches long ago, but over time and with increasing brand prestige they have moved up market to be a tool inspired sports watch. The El Primero, while on leather, still has a lot going on to be a classic dress watch. I’d think a dressy sports watch seems fair.

@ I think it’s more of a sliding scale from functional tool watches on one end, to formal dress pieces on the other. The gold case and leather strap make it “dressier” than some other sports watches, but the complications and dial make it less dressy than something like a Patek Calatrava. You can definitely wear that El Primero with a suit. Very nice piece for sure.

I recently tried to install the Seiko bracelet and they told me the clamp size are too small. Anyone else experience this issue ?

Thanks for the video. Do you know of any replacement clasp (only) for the Pelagos 39 bracelet? I don't want to change the bracelet, just the clasp as I find the original P39 clasp is too long. As I understand it, the clasp that Unclestraps sells does not fit with the Tudor bracelet. Their clasp only fits on their bracelet for the P39. And they don't make a clasp only for the Tudor P39 bracelet. Thanks!

@@thebestoffools I have not seen a clasp only. But the Uncle Straps clasp and bracelet combinations have always been more comfortable than my OEM Tudor bracelets.

@@txmexnittro congratulations. Enjoy it in good health. The kit I used wasn’t a specific name brand. It was just a set off Amazon that had good reviews at the time. Most of them are made in China, and won’t hold up to serious professional use. They get the job done for recreational users. Professional sets are hundreds of dollars .
