The clever is a bit dramatic. 🤣 A good pair of scissors would do great. I'm very much interested in how to propagate Amaryllis from leaf cuttings, though.

I looked few hours try to find a burned cable or short circuit. I have not found something unusual. I was planning to take of the panel to check the ignition switch cables tomorrow. And I saw your video when looking online. I went outside with my flashlight and in a minute tractor was on and working. Thank you so much for sharing this.

They need a 6-8 weeks dormancy before they can flower. Remove leaves and stop watering or remove them from pot and put in a paper bag to induce dormancy, repot in spring and it will flower.

I live in sand and mine have been in the ground 20+ years and they won’t spread at all. I wish they would spread for my honeybees. I have a small patch the size of a dinner plate. I dug bulbs last year and planted them all over and I haven’t seen a one come up and my other little patch is up and going strong right now.

I don't think it's invasive; its beautiful! Looks like you need to start selling them to make money if you don't like them. Same to me as The Star of Bethlehem, they're wonderful. The bugle weed is also like them and you can't go wrong for a group of little flowers with a powerful punch of color, purples and white...if you're a gardener, that is...I like to plant crocus around them as well.

I found your channel as I was searching how to grow an amaryllis! …but I’m wondering… Is the new leaf supposed to have a pinkish red tent? What does that mean? I don’t remember it being this color last year when a new leaf came out. I think last year it was a beautiful green color. I took a quick photo of it, but I don’t see where I can include it with this comment, darn it. Any help you can suggest will be greatly appreciated! Keep up the great work with your channel!🎉

We tossed our holiday waxed bulb out by our deck (not buried) this Spring and forgot about it. Then it just went crazy with growth, so i planted it and it produced huge green leaves! Since its extremely cold here in the Winter I'll be potting it and leaving inside by our picture window. I wonder if I should be waxing it instead?

I planted peony tubers in a pot and they never grew roots, so I just replanted them in a sunny area with good potting soil. Will they grow roots?

Hi, I planted amarillos first time and mine are much taller! The foliage cannot stand straight and don’t look good or attractive. Do you have any suggestions what to do? I’m in Northern Florida.

if the leaves dont stand straight it might be that there is not enough water and or not enough sunlight. if they are in full sun and warm conditions they do need water regularly !

Here in NW UK I have grown two or three; then they vanish. Field mice eat them, bulbs just don't grow and they are not cheap to buy for our containers. Can't believe my eyes!

If you want your Amaryllis to re bloom they have to go dormant stage for a while ! I line mine up in the garage, for winter, don't cut off the leaves, let the leaves die, do not water!!! When the Spring comes and all the freezes are over I put them outside to start growing again ! They bloom again, They must go dormant to re bloom,

It's a crime against nature to wax a bulb - so buy unwaxed or take the wax off
