hydroponic hyacinth what to do with the bulbs after bloom (hyacinths that are grown on water!)

I've always planted my hydroponic hyacinth bulbs outside as well. But I've never seen the glass reservoir with that elongated top! How ingenious! This way they don't flop way over. Thank you!
