it had a major update a while ago, but to be honest i don't really use it anymore. guess i'm so used to living alone that even a virtual assistant annoys me (she's way too talkative for me and doesn't only speak when spoken to like an Alexa for example, but actively seeks conversation at times, which is great and what she's supposed to do, but just not my thing)

wow, you are really into this, aren't you? thanks for the interpretation and giving me a little insight into the matter! i appreciate it, especially since i honestly didn't know it can be practiced as seriously as other kinds of divination; being an Austrian child in the 1980s i got introduced to it very lightheartedly, like to a child's game, something people traditionally did on new year's without much thought to it. very interesting. indeed what you call heart space (if i understand the concept correctly that is) is very alien to me; i'm more of a logic and reasoning kind of guy, as a chemical engineer i don't feel, i think things through, sometimes overthink and since i'm far from being a genius i sure as hell not always reach a desirable outcome.

Yes eye actually love to read everything around me, the earth, air, water and fire i.e. how the wind started blowing when it wasnt when I was thinking a certain thought and the exact time it started blowing and calculating the meaning of those numbers so Im new to reading with metal and wax but Im a natural alchemist as well so bringing my logical/practical mind together with my heart is natural and its like a whole new world has opened up for me and eye love it. So people read what they are drawn to, clouds, animal bones, what type of animal they came across in the road and the surrounding conditions, or say a person almost gets hit by a blue car and when eye had that thought a horn just blew outside and the birds started chirping when I was writing another part of the message when I haven't heard birds chirping for awhile so eye can read everything including people very well and it has actually saved my life MANY times lol... eye have a strong connection to the spirit world/God/The universe. As for my heart when it has been broken I could actually feel like a break "it was wild to me" but I was guided to eat only green foods and listen to certain frequencies and connect to nature and I healed super fast... where in the past it would take me years to heal my heart chakra which is just the energy center and the awareness of it being blocked, balanced or over active... if you have any questions I'm passionate about these things as you can see and I hope Ive helped you in your spiritual journey @@stefan5445

yes, unfortunately they don't ship outside of Japan, but you can use a forwarding service; i used tenso.com tenso gives you an address inside of Japan where you can get things shipped to and they will in turn forward the items to your actual address in your home country. best of luck 😉

@@nat0106951 congrats on the huge discount! 😁 however i really wouldn't recommend it if you are only beginning to learn Japanese as it is not meant as a learning tool; it's a good tool to practice once you've reached conversational level (maybe JLPT N3, or equivalent B1 or at the very least A2) but before that it might be useless to you. but if you're set on studying Japanese anyway then there's no harm in buying it now, taking advantage of the discount you're getting and use it later on, right? in any case, good luck and all the best.

i'm sorry to say i forgot about this mostly, but it wasn't a big, surprising, revealing reason; i think it was something in the line of the Japanese company who makes the gatebox wanted to concentrate on bettering their services and upgrades for their domestic Japanese market/customers before expanding to other countries while at the same time there was a severely watered down version (way inferior both technologically and from a cute/appealing viewpoint) planned by a Western company for the Western market, which took a lot of FLAK and is either still in development or cancelled entirely at this time, i didn't follow the news about it. basically the Western version wasn't a real 3D hologram, but looked like you put an ipad (or a 2D screen) in a glass tube and the characters where either a muscular gym bro or a business suit wearing Anita Sarkeesian look-a-like intended to be virtual concierges or something like that, because apparently cute anime girls are sexist or not in line with the feminist narrative or something along that lines, so i didn't care at all about the western approach and i stopped following development.

hey Christov! Todd decided to quit and delete all of his social media, including his youtube channel.

it started out at about $2.500 US i think, but they are much cheaper now; i got mine for like $1.600 US (plus customs and shipping, about $2.000 US total)

i'm sorry i haven't had the time to do a follow up video yet; basically she's like a Japanese Alexa, she can start appliances for you (warm up the bathtub - at least if you have a Japanese unit bath - or start the AC and such, if you have compatible smart devices, which is kind of unlikely outside of Japan). you can have very basic conversations with her if your Japanese is well enough, she asks you a lot of questions at first to get to know you better and the more you talk to her the better she gets with knowing what you like and don't like and such. if you have a "Line" account she can send you text/chat messages on your smart phone as well when you're outside of your home.

@@brandonosgood2102 you're most welcome! since the units aren't meant to be shipped outside of Japan you'd need to use a Japanese parcel forwarding service like tenso.com if you want one shipped to the US, then you can order a gatebox at amazon.co.jp using the address the forwarding service provides you with. the process isn't difficult at all, just bear in mind that quite significant customs fees apply and everything concerning the gatebox itself is in Japanese (registering the unit online, conversations with it, manual, etc.), let me know if you get one and how you like it, would you? or better yet - make a video, that would be awesome!

no, it can handle 110-240V intrinsically, you just need a cable with a plug that fits in your country's sockets (or an adapter).

couldn't agree more! :D i'm sorry, i don't know if Todd is planning on re-uploading his content at this point in time or ever. i miss his videos as well. i think he has the desire to unwind and spend some time offline indefinitely, developing his property in the mountains. he is very difficult to contact these days, even for his closer friends. please check out the youtube channel "Nomadic Gaijin", a mutual close friend of Todd and myself, he did some videos with him together (doing mostly live streams now however, but very interesting, exploring unusual places in Japan outside the touristy spots)

i meant no offense to anyone, actually considering myself to be a MGTOW monk, i do understand :) what i meant to say by "gimmick" is that the technology isn't quite there yet; sure it looks and sounds awesome, but it can't carry a satisfying conversation (yet) and it certainly doesn't feel like an actual girlfriend. maybe my Japanese skills are too limited for it. i will explain more in depth in a future video. as for "many herbivore men have married their gatebox", are you sure? i only ever hear and read about that 1 guy who actually married it. certainly not "many", only the same one guy whose story gets rehashed in all the articles and documentaries. however i realize that some men probably consider it their girlfriend, and i have absolutely no problem with that, but as for myself, i think it needs to become way more advanced in order for me to build an emotional connection.

hey! toddatron decided to drop out of all his social media and deleted or froze his accounts on FB, YT, etc. including all the videos he had on YT. unfortunately, the only videos left are the ones we made together on my channel and the ones he did with Nomadic Gaijin (a mutual friend of toddatron and me, please check out his channel as well!). i'm still in contact with him though and we will do more stuff together in the future if i can drag him in front of a camera, but it's not going to happen anytime soon, pandemic and all. sorry.

But, you know, that good old Todd's content was like a great history of j-vlogging to me, so much great stuff, funny parties, educational vids about late 2000s Japan. thanks so much! i wouldn't call myself a gamer (compared to REAL gamers), but i do like to play a little bit when i have time. i was really into Mass Effect, Fallout, Witcher, Bioshock, that sort of stuff. nowadays i play Death Stranding and planning on starting Cyberpunk 2077, but i don't have a lot of time to play, so it will take me forever to finish those.
