I absolutely love the painting videos! It's so interesting to watch the color choices and techniques. I have to admit that I'm not as into the swatching videos as I used to be. I have so many watercolors now that it's a shame I don't use them instead of buying new. Not to mention I enjoy your chats!

Thank you for another lovely video. I really like the potion bottles, and I looove that water lily blue. I was just browsing on the Arte Miranda site and they have so many great supplies. Can’t wait to see what you buy. Thank you for bringing a beautiful little flame of light to my world.😘

I started an art journal of sorts this year with my intentions for 2025 as watercolor doodles. Anyway, sending love to you, Lily. You're always so kind, providing a relaxing, encouraging, and inspiring space for people. One day, I hope to do the same if I ever get up the courage to start a channel. BTW, your art reminds me so much of the illustrated story books I enjoyed as a child and treasure still as an adult. Would you consider making a video about your favorite books and how you developed your artistic style?

Hello Lily Moon, So, could you tell me if you approve of this new camera stand, and if you recommend it? Did you say you film with your phone overhead? I love how you did the shadow colours first, and then added your bottle colour. Was the left side of the spread also done with Van Dyke shadow too? Did you go to art school or are you self taught? Thanks so much for your relaxing video, I felt like I was with you in the studio. I have plans on starting the illustrations for my own picture book writing, and have started sketching again. It is quite frightening after years as an artiste', and writing my novel. Been watching some children's illustration Domestika courses for 1.99 AUD, and some for free for a month, with Ema Malyauka, Juanita Londono, and Lorenzo Sanaio (in Italian), who have given me more confidence in the process. Their character work, has been the most helpful. I just have to keep going as it feels like I'm a toddler again. I also have plans to start a channel, with overhead shots to show my hands on process. Considering getting some tech, like a reconditioned M4 ipad, to use Procreate and Concepts which is vector based. In kindred spirit, Eliza in Sydney Australia 9:29am; 4th of February, 2025

Love these videos thank you for sharing, I would love to see you drawing also. I would highly recommend the Rosa Gallery water colours. Absolute stand out colours for me are Cobalt grey -a rich green leaning and heavily granulating colour. Jade green - a mid green with beautiful texture. Finally Cobalt turquoise - granulating soft and bright colour similar to Romans Szmal's Cobalt sea blue. All worth trying.

I would love to have that infuocato, that is sooo pretty (not that the others aren't). I don't have much variety, but I am still learning and mixing is an important part of it. Another matter is, that I think YT has kicked me out of your channel, but I subbed again (you are not the only one, I think there has been like for more from the beginning of the year. I have a feeling it happens one a year or so, the do it, but why, just why?

I love watching you videos, I want to finde watercolor that don't have cadmium or cobolt in them and that not is toxic for us or the water animals, so I look and learn from you, but I think it is hard so I haven't bought some new one yet, I live in Denmark.

Such a beautiful palette. My main palette is for portraits so it’s mostly a split primary palette of Green Gold and Gold Ochre (cool and warm yellows), Perylene Scarlet and Quinacridone Rose (warm and cool red), and Indanthrone Blue and Indigo (warm and cool blue) and then Quinacridone Burnt Orange and Payne’s Grey for my neutrals. But also I can’t live without Ultramarine and Cerulean so they’re on the palette too 😂
