Great video, used to fish Mary all the time. Caught a 31” , 32” and a 40” in my time there. Don’t live in AZ anymore but cool to see you catching a bunch. I had some good days but many days were very tricky to even get a bite, especially when the wind was bad which was more than half the time. Early morning bite was never a thing for some reason.

Thr last time I used my bfs rod with spinners for trout I had to turn down the drag and try not to pull on them. At first I kept pulling hooks because they were so small. I also went down to 4-6 pound fluro rather than braid to force myself to be gentle and not break off
@SouthwestFishing7 күн бұрын
I won’t miss as many next time! Thank you for the new idea, I’ll try 6lb Fluoro to see if that helps me chill on the hookset

Bartlett is fishing kinda strange lately. Couple weeks ago I was hitting em on frogs and Texas rigs. My buddy on jigs. Went out on Sunday. They were boiling like striper by the marina and just put the hurt on them with jerkbaits. They were eating as soon as it hit the water sometimes and couldn’t even work the bait before they hit it. Great video 🤘🏻
