the paddles included with that jointer are absolutely a safety hazard, recommend you discard them immediately - I tossed mine out the first time they slipped

Don't even risk it, customer's need to know that even if their dogs are friendly, don't have them outside when the delivery driver shows up. Where I work, it's company policy that driver's don't have to interact with pets and animals for safety.

i wish someone would do a video on muffler placement and what the changes in tone are. Placement as in closer or further from the engine or before and after the axle. seems like the newer (as in 05+) mustangs are more aggressive tone they have the mufflers after the rear axle. I wonder if that's the reasoning but haven't seen a video on it.
@ThisOldFarmShop16 сағат бұрын
That is a very interesting idea! I'm sure it would make a difference as to where to place them. I would think more throaty the closer the muffler is to the rear, but that's just a guess. Without some gas tank mods, I'm not sure you could fit a muffler after the axle on a fox body, but there's probably someone out there that has done it!

All that work and you didn't get rid of the drum brakes? If you're worried about keeping the Fox track width, Richard at North Racecars can help out. He makes caliper brackets (V6/GT or Cobra) that work with Fox-length Yukon axles. Buy some pre-bent lines and hoses from Maximum Motorsports, change the master cylinder, and you're dialed in.

Lol, I completely get that!!! I was watching Adam Booth knurl the other day. His knurls were off, and he said, " I just keep skinning a couple thou off and try again until my knurls come out the way I want." Best advice ever! I usually don't have to skin but a couple times and now get beautiful knurls!

Pretty nice work for a guy that claims he dont know what he's doing! LOL. I always wanted to get into doing more shotgun choke work when I was in the business, but the tooling for reamers and taps is so expensive and I just didn't have the demand. Making chokes is a whole 'nuther thing. Nice work.

With the Pro-M wires connected to the normally open green wires on the switch what are the RGB power and ground wires connected to? It's unclear to me what makes the RGB light go on and off. What provides the feedback to the RGB to turn it on and off?
@ThisOldFarmShop16 сағат бұрын
Sorry it took me so long to reply. I had to go back to the manual to try and remember... Basically, there is another wire that is purple that is the ground for the light you chose... "The purple coil of wire in the passenger's side kick panel is for the Traction Control indicator light. Use any 12vdc light you choose. Connect one side of this light to a switched 12v power supply through a 5A fuse. This circuit must be hot only in the run position. Connect the Purple wire to the other side of this light." I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions!

Great video! Thanks for the content! Another option which gives a more throaty sound, is the 50-series Big Block SUV. The dual-in/dual-out single muffler really knocks down on the annoying higher frequencies that make conversation hard, without holding back the lower frequencies.

Sorry about your results, man. I agree with you, though. It probably is the intake. Those are very healthy heads, and the cam is pretty large. I had those heads and a mild HR street-cam in an 8.5:1 compression 331 meant for boost that did 372rwhp without tuning through turbo manifolds. The only thing that explains the difference to me is that I was using a Box-R intake. I love the Cobra on the right application, but a high revving 351, like this one could be, is not it.
@ThisOldFarmShop24 күн бұрын
I was thinking about switching to the box r intake. Did you have any good clearance issues with it? Thanks!

This Tony Brooks "Big Dogs" guy is total liar. He will tell you anything he thinks you'll believe to make himself look better. On his channel, he stated the following about me and blocked me so that I couldn't respond there: "Guess he was mad that his HCI setup only made 276whp using the other guy's ported parts" This is blatantly made up as I have never dynoed another person's ported anything. He also stated: "telling the world not to use us to port their parts because our results are not real." I recommend not doing business with any known liar, but have never said a word about any of his results. However, I would recommend NOT taking him at his word about his results. If he twists everything else, you don't think he'd twist flowbench or dyno results? Just get your results from a 3rd party before you believe them. The lies about timelines and mail games he plays are yet another example.

A hammer drill is preferable for brick because it's less likely to blow out chunks of the brick. That's called spalling. A rotary hammer is ideal for concrete and hard natural stone like granite.

If I ever buy another Mustang to replace my 87, I'll be probably go with a Flowmaster exhaust. In an effort to keep drone to a minimum, I'll use an off road x-pipe (they drone less than H in my experience) and Flowmaster 50 Series HD mufflers (the highest flowing 50 series, according to Flowmaster). I like the Flowmaster sound with the 302 but I want the more grown-up sound of the 50 series. Also if I buy one, I'm going to build a 347 stroker so it has plenty of power to back up the sound. Want to be able to dust brand new Mustang GTs.
