@@Mike_knight_999 TBH I don’t think the belt moves that much during the movement. If it was as to activate the lock, I would say it will be when you unfold the seat too quick. It’s never happened to me thank god 😂

@@AXISUK thanks for your reply I may have found one on Amazon iv ordered another riv nut kit to see if it’s got a longer thread if not I’ll send it back and contact sealey direct it’s because mostly of the riv nuts are shorter stem not the longer ones all fails Just have to go to shorter riv nuts

I test drove two VW transporters and then a sales lad said have a look at this transit…test drove it and bought it on the spot but I’ve always had fords and it drives well…can’t wait to get out in in soon with the family and dogs 😎👏🏻 I’ll prob keep for a few years then go bigger like yourself

Nice, I’ve just brought wheel arch extensions because I hate cleaning the van, and my tyres stick out a bit,those flaps will help as well, might have to look into those. 👍

Yeah a massive difference. Can is a lot quieter, plus the doors don’t sound tinny when closing 👍🏻

Just fitted a pair of these and shutting the doors deffo sounds better, took all of 5 minutes to fit we’re going away in it later today so will see if there’s a reduction in road noise 👍🏻🇬🇧the drivers door threw me off for a bit as it’s different to the passengers door !

Depending how far you have put it to the rear, the strut should form to the shape of the van roof when bolted 👍🏻

Tidy job and has answered a question I didn’t know I needed to ask 😅 I’ve also got unistrut rails and have been thinking about adding a light bar. Nice job and the light out out is good. I’ve got the Lazer lamps which are mega. I just want a light bar to finish the roof line in front of the skylight 👌

@@AXISUK Yep. Certainly if you’re running them from the switches rather than main beams. Just got to cut the grill which isn’t much fun… but is easy with the moulds they supply 👌

Great tutorial. I have now found out that if you have a factory Webasto water heater there is actually already a third fuel line in that location. There is just a flexible tube inside like for the main feed. So I'm just going to tap into that close to the aux heater.

If you face the sliding door from outside. Look to the right and just behind the locking ring will be a black rubber bung. Just pull that and see if it works.

Hi Charles, personally I think most rules are there to be broken, not that we did break any rules. But even if we had, i genuinely wouldn’t lose one second of sleep over it. What trouble would we possibly be causing by chatting to each other on a radio? It’s hardly like we are going to mistakenly call in an air strike or anything is it.

I have emailed Van Der Moon with an issue with the same max organiser. There isn’t a lot of metal to fix onto on the upper section, not nearly enough for all the holes they suggest fixing into. Seems the rivets will be placed either too close to an edge or on a curve. Did you find that? I know you mentioned “not enough meat to fix to” but you still fixed it all up. I’m just worried because when lined up (without any carpet or extra material on top of the metal of the door) i don’t trust the holes are going to hit / fix enough.

Where I have fixed mine in the video there is still enough to hold it solid with stuff packed in. I do think vandermoon should include the little brackets to screw into the window edges as this will add piece of mind, but still good with out.

@@AXISUK Thanks for that. For such an expensive item (great qualify of course) you would think some additional assitance/guidance on fixing would be included. What did you use to fix it, they recommend rivnuts which is my concern as some koi the holes are on a bend and therefore will be a nightmare to attach rivets to straight on. Concerned that if I use one of the non recommended methods, screws for example, should something happen and they fail (I have young kids so who know what they may decide to climb on haha) I'll have nothing to stand on as used the non recommended fixings if you get my drift.

@@chrisglebocki1622 vander show you 3 options for fitting. Rivnuts, rivets or self tapping screws. The later I used as exactly what you pointed out with the curves would be a mer to try rivnut. They are absolutely solid in my van and even if you used rivnuts, I don’t think it would be stronge enough for a child’s ladder 🤣.
