Thank you. Where I am is getting hit hard by them and fortunately there are plenty of trees that don't get eaten by the EAB but we will have to cull half the trees on our property just to get rid of them.

Uncle was a farmer that died a few months after retirement doing this knowing you aren’t supposed to. Hate to admit it but I never liked the guy and the last thing he said to me was “My insurance policy is worth 1million dollars”. Barely made a dent from all the farm equipment they were making payments on. Moral of story is money and religion is the root of all evil IMO.

Bare root peach tree is coming to me in Jan. 2025. Time to refresh all the instruction you mentioned 12 years ago.

I have a 4 year old peach tree thats never been pruned. Most of the branches are on one side and the tree is leaning. I don't want to cut too much of the large brances being afraid it might ruin the tree.

I like to put a thick compost layer on top spaced off the trunk and a layer of leaves on top of that as well.

They literally become trees.I live in Argentina and went to the Coast and everywhere where there are beaches there are these Oleander trees. NOONE has them as bushes.
