Nice vid I do like the silence and just hearing how the truck behaves on the road. But also would like some commentary every now and then like "These s10's soak up these bumps real well on the current struts i have on" such and such.

@CrazyWoody1989
@CrazyWoody1989 22 күн бұрын
@MattLsBr it'll cause it to have a check engine light on and stuff but as long as you hook the TV cable up proper it should work. The biggest reason I did it was because the 700R was free but also because that poor old van isn't worth spending what it would cost to have the '95 specific model 4l60e rebuilt

@papalio01 I didn't, it still has the factory proportioning valve, but everything seems to work properly. I can't even remember how old this video is now, but I've put a ton of miles on the truck since I did the swap and it's still working great!

So many types of shocks, is there a type you suggest to consider, do you think heavy duty would be necessary as they are pricier than I hope to invest. Thanks for your reply, your video is super helpful, do you have a part number for the window cogs??. I love Rockauto and carparts but I'm currently in Canada and dang neither ship to Canada. In the older carburated vans, there was a fast idle screw on the idle cam and electric choke. If you didn't warm them up enough the engine would stall and die. When I got the 88' I was glad this problem was solved by this little device.
