Great question! It’s best to reapply the coating once a year, ideally in the summer when the warm weather helps it spread more evenly. They told me this at the new location I visit, and it makes a lot of sense for maximizing protection. Most of the oil stays on unless you use strong degreasers, so over time, you actually build up multiple protective layers, which is excellent for preventing rust. It doesn’t wear off easily, but annual reapplications ensure you’re always covered and re-coat any areas that might have worn thin. @THAT3GGT the Fandom is inaccurate. The hero car was a 1999 GTR but all the rest, including the cars in the races were all GTT's. That's why you can see the cars doing burnouts and long drifts into corners. The hero car was used in the modification scene the one where Paul arrived at the race, and the shot in the warehouse before the cars were loaded up in the furniture truck. (The shot where it's parked next to Vin's Chevelle SS)
