Question on the gantlets: can they be cinched down tight so they don’t look like cones on your wrists. I can see it being great in the winter, but I just want to be able to tighten them so my wrists look straight. Hope that makes sense.

@RainyRider19709 күн бұрын
I leave the right side fork locked down, and use the hub nut tool to loosen it. You can get them off Amazon for cheap, or from BMW for not cheap. Here's the link amzn.to/4fcR9Fo

People do realize that you're supposed to slow down at a yellow light not trying to Speed through it and in the other case, regardless if the light just switches you go slow to make sure that there's no crazy ass person out there that would try to run light. always practice caution.

Hi l have a question , l bought a k1600 in 2018 , l rarely drove it but l did put 6000 miles on it and having changed the oil yet . I remember they told me when l bought the bike to bring it in at 300 miles for the first service . I my mind l have never done it , because l thought the wanted to take advantage of me because it coasted $500 . Now , l realize that l made a big mistake , my bike runs , but not good , specially when l’m in higher speed l feel life it doesn’t want to give me it potential . I’m planing to take it in for the first service after 6 years . I just hope that l did destroyed my bike . I’m so made of my stupidity because l bought it 30k brand new . Do you have idea what can happen to the bike if not oil changed for the first 6000 miles ?
@RainyRider197020 күн бұрын
@Thebossfromdc have you ever checked the level? Your oil is probably toast. The filter is probably clogged or has blown out. Good news is this is an easy job you can do yourself for about 60 bucks. If you're close to Memphis, I'll do it for the cost of oil and a filter, and we'll see how it goes. If you ran the sump dry, the ECU should have thrown alarms that you'd see. My guess is your oil pressure is low, so hopefully you haven't been romping on it. The dealer will want to do a flush if you tell them that, and that's about $1K. Find someone who knows what they're doing and have them look at it first

On the overconfidence. My dad told me many years ago (he started riding in the 30's) that there will come a day when you will think you are in complete control and everything you do will work perfectly. He then said that would be the time to get off and not ride again til you fix your attitude.

I’m disappointed with the mic quality of the ASMAX z1. When I make a call they can’t hear me, but say I sound like I’m over compressed, too high of noise cancelling, or “pixel-y”. If you used the Z1’s mic audio for the ride commentary we would probably hear it too.

I also have this stupid habit of not reporting my injuries. Once, as a child, I broke my head badly, and left a bloody trail just everywhere I ran, I spent the whole day far from home so that my parents would not find out about it..(If anyone is interested in how I stopped the bleeding: with the help of a "Plantago"- растение " Подорожник". And my "Liquid..")..Today's children are clearly not taught this..😂😬😬

I had a motorcycle that I rode all year round, a Honda Degree (XL250). It's a great, reliable bike, it was often completely in the ice and I had to smash it to literally press the start button, but it always started and never let me down.

Oh, the Angel is holding a glass of red wine. Since I come from the village, I have quite a lot of funny stories related to the "Homemade wine" that my father made. It was a long time ago, when I was still a child, my parents were doing a little renovation in the house, and my brother and I had a choice: to help our parents with repairs or go to the basement to sort out potatoes before winter (like: this one for food, this one for animals, this one for planting in the new year..) and There was a barrel of wine in the basement.. Guys, you can't imagine how much fun we had, we got incredibly drunk and sang songs so that even the neighbors heard us.. Our parents are wise enough, they did not scold us, but our father's gaze told us all the next week that we were waiting for punishment.. Oh, that waiting was the most terrible punishment..😂😱
